Glad you had a good time granny. Victory and I said we put on a lb a day easily when eating "normally" as opposed to healthily, let alone bad! So not a bad gain considering you were away, and an achievable amount to get rid of again.
Polkadot - hope you have a good time at your friends.
Well I managed a few mouthfulls of cereal and promptly threw up. I guess this weekend is possibly the culmination of my feeling rubbish for the last week. So frustrating though, I didn't get any uni work done yesterday, after doing so well the day before. I just dont have time to be ill. Hopefully I will feel better and be able to do some later.
What food is good to eat when you feel sick? Had hot X buns and a few chips yesterday, and know I need to eat something today.0 -
hi everyone. may i pick your brains a little those of you who have wii and wii fit please?
whats the step aerobics program like on it? they cancelled it at my gym and im figuring since its only 2 classes, and i like one of the replacements anyway and i like the gym that i dot want to switch gyms completely, and im sure its a lot cheaper than 40quid a month to save up and buy the wii and wii fit (which i want anyway but would ahve waited til the next console came out or it was much cheaper).
is it easy enough to follow the routine? and is it any way similar to actual step?
dmv i always plump for soup and maybe a slice of bread when im sick.0 -
BB am moving closer to where i work as currently I only get home at the weekends due to the two hour drive from work to home. It'll also be nice to live near the sea again as i have done for most my life.0

missy i do believe i have put the !!!!!! label on you before
I must have missed that VixI've been waiting a decade to be called a !!!!!! :rotfl:
nmm that's ace about the jeans nearly fitting. I remember getting back into my skinny jeans, then a few months later freecycling them along with other stuff cos they were much too big
Glad you had a good time Granny, you !!!!!! youI must admit I've been slightly concerned about the cost of my trip (next month) in the 'Eurozone' because of the exchange rate
BB glad to find out I'm not the only one who's not that bothered about chocolate! Enjoy your new camera!
Hi Purplecatlover! In my humble opinion don't buy a wii console and wii fit just (or mainly) for the 'step' feature. If you are used to doing a step class, especially if it's an intense one, you're unlikely to find 'wii stepping' much of a workout. The step is significantly lower, and there's only the option of one advanced routine which takes about 5 minutes - or 'free stepping' which is just 10, 20 or 30 mins on and off stepping.
If it's just Step you're after, you could buy a Tesco value step and about 20 full length different step workout DVDs for less than the price of a wii & wii fit. Or what about a pay as you go Step class at a different gym? Maybe they'll bring the Step class back at your gym when they do the next class reshuffle anyway?0 -
thanks missy i hadnt thought about a stepper and dvds. thats probably a much better idea. thank you. payg, yeah i am going to call jjb and ask them if i can just pay for a couple of their classes. and the teacher at current gym knows i want it back, i was assuming there had been a big drop in numbers while i wasnt going, but apparently not, so ill keep suggesting they bring it back.
time to hit tescos website now then.0 -
I'm another one who's not much bothered by easter choc. C has bought me an egg but it's not calling to me haha.
Just had a text from my mum thanking me for my old jeans I've sent her that are too big for me now. They are practically brand new as I didn't get much wear out of them before they got too big!
I used to dream about girly clothes swapping with my mum, now I'm smaller than her!Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Hello gang,
I hope the sun is shining on the rest of you, because it's pants here today! Grey, damp and cold - oooh, it must be a bank holiday then!
Well so much for best laid plans yesterday, after my lapse at lunch with the hot x buns, OH went over to the shop for some razor blades and came back with a bumper bag of fresh bread, all at 10p a loaf/baguette, and a lemon cheesecake! he said he thought we both deserved a treat, bless him. I didn't eat all of my portion mind you, but doubt that made a significant dent in the cals, as it tasted divine, and looked very naughty. I had omlette for tea, which was merely damage limitation.
Today we are going up to my house to do some more lifting/carrying/packing. I'm getting rather fed up of it all now, but it has to be done.
Will catch up with all you !!!!!!'s !!!!!!'s and whatever else's later. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
