Oh I'm confused Victory, are you supposed to be on the chart? Cos I've not noticed your weigh in posts if you have? I've not noticed a post asking to be taken off it either!!!
There are a lot of people missing off the chart this week, quite a few haven't posted. If you have and I've missed it, sorry, let me know and I'll re-do chart.
Can I remind people to post weigh in results big bold and in bright colour!
SOTW is shelovestobuystuff with a brill 3.25 lbs loss this week :T (for some reason the chart has rounded it to 3.3lbs)

DMV and Vix talk about feeling old:rotfl:and Im only 30 so not a drop on some of our posters.
Raph I have no words-thats really not nice at all
Beanie I also have a popcorn maker (£7 from argos) and I drink water. I have a new thing now too. I have had the book "the nature doctor by Alfred Vogel" and Ive only really dipped into it-but I've started keeping it next to my laptop and use it for everything. Ginger seemed to pop up lots-so I bought myself some twinings lemon and ginger tea and drink that now.
We have playgroup today (yay coz all the others were cancelled this week) so Im walking down thelre (very slowly in about an hour.
Supper last night was lemon and tarragon chicken with spaghetti. I need to find a suitable drink to replace alcohol for this weekend. We are going round to friends on Saturday for a braai and DF has friends coming here on Friday night. Was thinking indian soda water or something like that. Any other ideas?0 -
:mad::mad: What is wrong with people!!! You know yesterday I said I looked after the little girl downstairs? I was just getting dressed for playgroup and heard DF talking (very briefly) on his way out the door. Next thing I know-little girl is coming up the stairs. I finished getting dressed and went and knocked-there was no one there. So shes obviously gone to work already. I don't have a telephone number for her-I dont even know this childs full name!
I'm going to playgroup anyway-with her. I'll leave a note on the door and go. Trouble is, I need to get some shopping done too which I wont be able to now because I'll have to walk (sore foot and all) so I'll have to go out again later:mad:
Vent over ....sorry:o0 -

no not supposed to be on the chart, posted to come off it,(while ago now) post every week the STS normally on a tuesday/wednesday, it is all good just terrifying not to have that cushion:rolleyes::D0 -
POLKADOT - I can't believe you have been left with a child without being explicitly and clearly asked, and of course given contact details just in case.
BEANIE - the popcorn thing originated from me talking to a jockey who said that a few days before a race (they have to be weighed) he practically lived off the stuff as its very filling but light weight wise and low cal. If its good enough for a pro then its good enough for us mere mortals!
I had nine and a half hours sleep last night, and made myself get up as my body wanted more. Will give myself half hour to wake up, have breakfast and be on here, then its work work work today to try and catch up from yesterdays lack of it.
RAPH - do you know what caused the big gain? Thats half the battle. Hopefully you will be able to get it off again nearly as quick as it went on. Can you feel that in your clothes?Just thinking you can feel it when that amount comes off, but when i put on over a stone on holiday, it doesnt feel that much in my clothes, so im never really sure what that weight is!0 -

It's funny that I'm really not all that bothered by it :rotfl:I've just taken it in me stride, plenty of more important things in my life right now!

I still fit my clothes, and my hips etc still feel toned. I did eat lots of treats last week (fish and chips, puddings that I don't usually have, roast dinner, & lots of alcohol) and its also TOTM and I didn't do much exercise last week
I'm not worried at the moment, I'm back into my normal routines now, I'll only be worried if I put on again this week.

I did notice on last months chart you were all sts's. I've been thinking of maybe only weighing in once a fortnight, infact I've been a little lax lately, weighing a day late, weighing after breakfast etc.
I think I'm using it as a 'check' now, to see if I'm doing alright, instead of focusing on it as a challenge like I used to

hey folks.
Im being bad, chocolate is everywhere and i have a take away tonight that is like 1,300 odd calories for half a box!! So i had a tiny lunch and only rice crispies for breakie. Im going shopping in maidstone tomorrow to walk it off!!
My mother, father and brother are in Newcastle right now. Im not happy with my brothers girlfriend who messaged me last night to say how well i did last time when we went out for a meal where i paid nothing. I havent replied cos it wouldnt be nice and i wanna keep happy familys, but its really annoyed me!!
im off to look for a mobile phone, anyone got the LG cookie?0 -
I have just been and bought easter eggs-I got a 4 for £3 at poundlands chrictmas shop:rotfl:and a pack of three creme eggs so thats one of each for each of us and I'll hang on to the fourth big one-maybe a potty training treat for DS. Im proud of myself that I didnt go overboard...only thing is-Ive asked DF to look in the Saffer shop on his way home for a box of chocolate marshmallow eggs. I can never resist them and they come in a box of 100:eek:. I finally found my wheat germ oil tablets:jIve been using the oil with my cereal but it takes the sweetness out of the cereal so that I want to use sweetner...the tablets turned out cheaper too. Also found an alternative for drinks (although not non alcoholic) Vodka and indian tonic water-the water has 4cals per 250ml glass so it has to be better than my usual brandy and coke.
They had a raffle at playgroup and I bought 4 strips (£1 each) and we won a strip. I didnt let DF choose as I thought Id put away our prie for his birthday in June. I picked up a zipbag of books. Turned out to be the Usborne spotters guide collection. Has 20 books in it all discover type stuff-butterflies, sea, garden etc...got it home before I saw the RRP-now Im tempted to list it-£72 its worth:rotfl:Also last night I got a kitchen trollety off freecycle. Thought it would be handy to use for my cake decorating stuff. DF collected for me and when he got home-it turned out to be one of those ikea centre spaces trolleys! So Im feeling kinda liucky-think Ill give 30 minutes tonight to some comping:D0 -
Polkadot, that really is taking the ****!!! Think perhaps you need to make a list and keep it ready, else the 'childminding' may become a regular thing!
How about a white wine spritzer with diet lemonade ? A long drink that can last a long time:rotfl::rotfl:
Vix, I work on the reception at a veterinary hospital and the rudeness of some people is unbelieveable, think your brothers girlfriend is pretty high on the 'rude' radar:eek: Think you have shown great restraint!
