The diet god has punished me today! The taster square of chocolate cake I had today was divine...the cake I bought despite being "the same" was nowhere near as moist. Still reasonably good tho, so i cut myself a small slice to enjoy while watching desperate housewives. Half way through the cake my cat threw up in front of me I jumped up and went "eurgh" the cake flew up in the air and the dog jumped to catch it! I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I will maybe have another small slice tomorrow, but the rest of it will be given to the boys I'm looking after on tuesday to eat/take home.

Am tired now but OH has just got home so we are going to watch lewis (recorded it earlier) which is 2 hours long! So tomorrow will be another late start. I really need to get a good chunk of work done tomorrow, I'm really struggling with not just pills but motivation at the minute and I've fell behind this week which means I will have to work very hard for the next two weeks to get this essay in on time. A challenge I think! Night all.

lo all! Glad to see we nearly all survived without mse. I think i've mostly got back on track with eating and exercise - started davina super body this weekend. I've only done 1 workout so far, but it's pretty good. You havet o concentrate quite hard but I like all the silly faces she pulls.

Finished the dress, phew, and nearly done the pants. Staples were looking like an option at one stage granny. MAde a bit of a howler though - they're wahts known as pipe braies - basically a tube of material that you attach a waistband too, so they are rather saggy on the butt. They have a gusset on either side of the waist to help them hang better. I didn;t look at the pattern closely enough, and thought that the gusset was inside the waist but it's actually additional. So before I put a drawstring in them, i measured the waist and it's 66 inches. oops. They look like spongebob's square pants.

Anyway, todays food plan . .

    granola, milk and oj
    cn cornflakes, milk, apple
    cup soup
    stuffed onions and veg

beanie, have you got a bird feeder? Sounds silly, but i stuck a couple on my shed and now when i look at the garden i don't look at the mess, I look at hte birdies.sounds silly, but it might help!

great to hear from you edelweiss. All sounding a good fresh start:T
Glad to have you back Victory - where you bin?:rotfl:
beanie - really sorry to hear of your struggles - at tmes like this I wish we didn't all live so far apart. I know maintaining ahouse can be overwhelming, especially with a shortage of cash and no one else to share the burden with. I guess the hosptal tests are to do with potential improved mobility but bring a host of stresses/pain and decisions along the way? Please havea dodgy hug:grouphug:. I just wish there was more I could offer, but at least knw we are a listning place here.

Missy - another great week for you: I looked at your 6 monthly goals and they look fab. Look forward to hearing progress. My 6 monthly exercise goal is watching the TDF in 3 months and counting...:D
dmv - lol at your choc cake adventure: yousee, the gods are looking after you:D. It is really hard falling behind as thenyou never get to have a stress free break.
polkadot - It's amazing how something so small can be so painful isn't it. Hope it heals quickly.
BM - glad OH apologised - I think being able to apologise in a relationship is a very positive thing. Thank goodness it wasn't worse for your dd.
kpc - those pants aren't for you are they, so no worries:rotfl:

Haven't workedout my menu for today. but last night changed my plan - just didn't feel like salmon so made potato wedges for the first time ever. Absolutely fantastic. Sprinkled cajun seasoning ion them and dipped them in half fat creme fraiche. I died and went to heaven. Body very satisfied.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

It's a 2lb loss for me this week. HOOOORAAAY:j:j. Was sick of seeing the same numbers on the scales!

Got a bowl of leftover chicken from yesterday (A bowl!! OH ate a breast for tea and then demanded the other for work) Normally I have loads of chicken leftover and it was 1.8kg so not too small!

So I'm not sure what to make with it, I have veges to pad it out and I'm loathe to bin it, but I cant turn it into a curry because it's all leg/scrap meat and I hate chicken like that in a curry. Normally would make a pie but I'm out of puff pastry.

Anyone got any yummy ideas? I'm thinking something with pasta, tomato chicken pasta? Or would that be weird? I have A LOT of pasta in the house, two big 3kg bags I think it is, 2 1kg, bags of coloured pasta from lidl (Not even sure what I do with them lol) and canneloni(SP) Pasta tubes you stuff, I wanna stuff them with savoury meaty rice at some point mmmm

arghhhhhhhh just lost a long post! Buttons could try a tomato sauce like you said, or a stir fry or chow mein depending on your veggies. Also a hotpot of sliced (uncooked) potato, meat, onion, white sauce. Repeat and then finish with a layer of potato. An hour covered at 200, then another 45 to an hour uncovered at 180. Loads of seasoning, works with chicken, bacon or a combo of the two. Could probably cook quicker if potatoes were pre cooked, but ive never tried it. Its very filling, and a cheap "use up the meat" meal which my OH adores. Serve with veg, or just on its own for a comfort meal!

Well done Buttons and Nmm for the losses! I really think mine will be a sts this week, as TOTM is looming and I feel rubbish. BB, I think I may be brave and throw the cake away today, not MSE I know but if I don't I will end up eating more, and if its not enjoyed then its just not worth it! I really need to push myself this week, am gonna get some cereal and then sit in my dressing gown and try to get some work done for a couple of hours. I'm only 350 words into a 3000 word essay that is due on the 20th, which means due to editing it will need to be finished on the 18th and as its my OH's birthday on the 16th we are busy on the 16th/17th that only leaves 11 days including today which equals 240 words a day but I need to do all the other stuff like type up my appendix stuff and get all the reading done to write the essay!Arghhhhh! On that note...bye!
