Vix glad to hear you're feeling better. I had hoped to be number 7 this month, but my BBT dropped this morning from 36.5 yesterday to 35.9-so there's that spike I was waiting for. And believe it or not...the toes are important in the process:o

oh vix, so glad you feel better. You've made me fill up thinking of your howling & so unhappy - not that I haven't been there too. Damn hormones:mad::D.

Thanks dmv - you really encourage me. I'm really enjoying my food at the moment. I do prefer to cook from scratch as much as possible and use very little preprepared food/sauces. And I am lucky, I don't like pastry that much, with a few exceptions, & don't have a very sweet tooth. Although I have occasional sugar addictions hat come and go.
What is very new for me is to limit the amount of fruit I eat to 3 -4 pieces a day (aim for 3 but sometimes have a forth if I can't sleep at night.)
I've had to teach myself to 'like' vegetables in recent years and gradually they've grown on me. They'll never be my first love but we certainly eat plenty now.
A good friend of mine is currently doing a raw food diet and some of the stuff she is eating looks facinanting so she's going to give a few lessons sometime.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • 0.6lb loss on 13,321 calories and 6 days of exercise (4 gym sessions, 1 spin class and 30 mins horseriding)

Looks like body fat is up by 0.5lb, muscle down by 1.2lb , at least bone mass stayed up at 4.6.

Not sure I fully believe the fat/muscle weights, but measurements are staying the same.

nmm, i;vwe only done super fit on davina but i am liking it - i like the faces she pulls! it's a different workout to claire - it seems to work one thing to exhaustion then start you on another which was just the change i needed. so many thanks for that!

think i'm nearly ready for hte weekend - jsut spent the whole night writing risk assessments and training competencies. H&S has hit re-enactment this past year or so and our group has decided to catch up. no fun at all!! time for a little read before bed i think. polkadot, i wouldn't even ask them to xray your toe. They really tend not to bother. I thought this was a bit off, but when i did mine in the a&e nurse said that they won;t give you any different advice if it;s broken or strained, and it won;t make any more difference to your mobility either. which makes sense i spose.

Thanks KPC thats what DF and doctor said originally, but DF is feeling differently about it now. How long did it take you to get back on track after?
