2nd delivery from DHL, second time they've shoved a card through the letter box when there was a human and 2 dogs in the house - must have been in stealth mode......

Can I just say WELL DONE APPROVED FOODS. Had a couple of damaged items in my parcel this morning including some reese swoops which were all melted and ended up in the bin. I email AP this morning and have had a refund and reply back already.

    EXCELLENT customer service

I am now also half way down my bottle of surf, and if it can get said pasta sauce out of son's white school shirts...that's fine by me....shed full! Oh....and my skips were whole:)

    Slightly offo topic :o....but
If you have any tomato based stains on clothing, the stain will come out if you hang it on the washing line - the sun will bleach the stain out

    Zippy x

What? You threw away perfectly good Reese products because they were melted? Why not stick 'em in the friedge till they are solid again? LOL

I love Approved Foods but I really need to wait until theres some more good stuff. I'm getting carried away at times (hey it's fun to get parcels!) but too many of the things I've been getting recently you can get for the same, or indeed less on offer in several supermarkets and they're not on the edge of or out of date.

So if they could bring back the Asda Jelly pots (only 10 calories a pot, the more recent ones have been 80 odd) and lots of nice drinks for work I'll make a big order ;)

There are some very nice things, I got my latest box yesterday but it was only a small one and not as fulfilling :P

it had melted into a blob and wouldn't be edible unless melted down again and used as a dip or somthing. It didnt look appertising so binned them. Got my money back so not bothered.

I guess it depends what's available to them as to what they can buy in. I also wonder how things will affect their business if the government goes ahead and stops best before dates? We've had some great bargains from them but only order what we'll use and what seems a good deal. When it's good, though, it's really good!:D

Has anyone else had problems with the site recently?
My basket is playing up bigtime! I've spent an absolute age this evening putting things in the basket, got to 27 different items in varying quantities, just under £50 but when I try to checkout it shows only 3 items and a total of £3.66 + £7.50 delivery.

I think I'm ready to pack it in with this site, it is far too tempremental and frustrating to make the occassional bargains worth the effort! It's bad enough that half the things disappear whilst your putting an order together so that you begin to wonder if it's actually still worth ordering but now this! Think I might stick to Sainsburys at least I know once its in the trolley it stays there til I go to the checkout.

You can be sure if I try again tommorrow most of what I wanted will be gone. What a complete waste of time and effort.
Nothing I press seems to retrieve the basket I had, anyone any ideas?
Feeling so fed up at the moment.
