I realise this has already been asked, but I can't go through both threads right now. Do Approved Food give you a 'delivery slot', as I am at work all day and would not be able to sign for the parcel? What happens if you are not in (can't have it delivered to work unfortunately)

Both the agents AF use in my area will drop a card through your door to let you know they attempted delivery.

DHL will attempt to re deliver a small parcel, but larger ones may have to be collected from their depot.

i love approved food...they're great at obtaining gluten free products...we spent £15 last week and have stocked OH up on bread for quite awhile :)

I have done the same... my 5 yr old daughter has just been diagnosed with ceoliacs so these have been a great way of trying her on different things.

is anyone having problems ordering right now?

i got an email that really caught my eye so decided to do an order but it keeps adding the same items over and over again. so right now i had my cous cous listed 6 times, and the beef bouillon etc etc then when i try to remove items it goes nuts and adds more items though suddenly the amount will drop from 165 quid to 58 quid then go up again when i REMOVE items!

there are some really great things on right now that i know are gonna go fast so i really need to sort this... anyone have any clues how to fix it?

i might add i should only have about 7 lines (different types of food) in my basket right now!

well i finally gave up trying to remove items. in a desperate ploy to get it to work i used IE (i was using firefox) not only did that empty my trolley but it actually worked with no issues.

so dan, if you're reading this PLEASE resolve the issues that are now happening with firefox and your software. this is my 5th order i think and i've always used THIS edition of firefox for my orders so it's gotta be on your end of things

happy i managed to get my goodies though, now i wonder when they'll show up, my last two deliveries have taken a week or longer

i have also had problems with items adding themselves and then the ones i added just vanish..... but my main problem is customer services.... i used to send them an email asking when my order might be with me etc.... and i would have an email the same day but now i am just ignored... no emails at all just the ones from them with new products etc...and delivery got down to just a few days but now you just have no idea at all....
this will be my last order .

There's something odd about their email settings. I had a very delayed reply to a query I'd given up on, with an apology as my email had gone into their junk folder. And even when everyone else is being swamped, I do not get their emails despite having signed up 3 times.

BRILLIANT! The toffee probably tastes just fine, who bothers with dates these days, anyway? :rotfl: Bit on the expensive side for my taste, though. :rotfl:

Re slow email responses and order deliveries - I think App F00ds (or Cragg$ C & C) has fallen foul of it's own success and are having trouble keeping up with orders since going all high profile on MSE. Has anyone tried the F00dbargains website to compare prices and service?

    Order placed Fri 17th 17.52 hrs, shipping advice received 22nd @ 16.57 hrs - 3 working days.

Only problem is I appear to have suffered the 'duplicate order' syndrome which I didn't notice. The odd thing is not every line on the order has been duplicated. I didn't get a duplication of Toblerone fruit & nut, Dried Soya Mince, Winiary Mayonnaise, or the last line - Quality Street Selection King size caramel swirl.
