Poor old AF, they can't seem to win here - 3 weeks too long and 1 week too soon?

Don't be perplexed, the order went in on the 8th, was sent out on the 18th and got here yesterday 26th ...:D

You are right, it's pretty obvious that there are still delays, not quite sure what the reason is now though, I thought the backlog had been dealt with?

It still tells you on the site homepage that they are experiencing a backlog of about a week, so even though they are getting near the end, I don't think the whole of the backlog has been dealt with - at least I've not read anything to the contrary ...

I received my order, a few items were missing and had been substituted, not exactly with similar items, but more of the same items I had ordered and it was still close to the weight limit.
I did not receive a dispatch e-mail, very annoying, but at least the delivery driver 'phoned me to make sure I would be in.
Everything was well wrapped and the outside boxes were not damaged, the strapping had come off one though. All jars had bubble-wrap, all of the juice cartons were nicely packed and nothing was squashed or broken.
The delivery driver was extremely pleasant even though it was a bit of a walk to the door with two heavy boxes.
At the moment I think the lack of dispatch e-mail is the one thing that really needs sorting out.

I received my order of the 18th, having got a dispatch email yesterday.

I really have to congratulate AP on the packing. Although the outside box had split slightly, nothing was damaged. Whoever packed it bubble wrapped the breakables, placed everything in smaller boxes inside and packed them all neatly inside the outside box. Someone had obviously spent a lot of time on it and I am really impressed and very pleased with my order. Thankyou AF.

I agree. I was told by email yesterday morning that "Your order will be dispatched this afternoon and you should receive it within the next 2-3 days.", but I have NOT received a 'despatch' (e.g. "Your Order from Crags Cash and Carry has been Dispatched" type, as before) email'.
That is a bit disapointing because I need to plan to be around to accept a delivery and when an attempt will be made / by who is a complete unkown. :(

I had an email to say my order would be delivered today. It's not showing on DHL system, and hasn't turned up . I hate waiting in for nothing.

    Update.
It's now turned up on the DHL website. It was dispatched yesterday, but I assumed it would be next day delivery, as all my previous orders have been sent out next day.
