why dont you phone Dan direct on his mobile, and ask him.. to find out about your order... he is a lovely guy honestly.... and would rather you talk to him direct about an issue or any questions regarding your order...
Because on Thursday (26th Feb)....sellercheckuk wrote: »My order was also placed early in the morning (before 6am) on 19th Feb.
Today (26th Feb.) This morning I received a reply from Approved Foods to my question (asked on 19th via Google Checkout) saying: "Your order is being processed today, as we are now doing orders from the 19th. Your order is complete, and there are no out of stock items. Your order will be dispatched this afternoon and you should receive it within the next 2-3 days."
....
See what I mean? i.e. I've already been given a specific answer (7 days after asking it) in writing to a specific question in writing about the order, so I don't feel that I, the customer, should need or have to phone the supplier who in my opinion should be proactively following up on their promises.
To be clear, I'm not desperate to receive delivery, but want to know when it has been despatched.0 -

oo right ok.....i thought you were on about wanda, because she had her order speeded through...
maybe you will have your order at the begining of next week, as they dont deliver on hte weekends.... maybe the new delivery firm do not give any notice by dhl...
if it was me i would phone..... to highlight it to Dan, as he is not picking and packing every order himself... so he can hear direct from the customer what is going on,Work to live= not live to work0 -

What do you mean by "the new delivery firm"?
This is what it says on the Approved Foods web page:
We use a national courier company (one for local and one for national) and each has a track and trace service.

Anyway, as I said, I would like to know when is has been despatched so that I can plan to be around to receive delivery and don't feel that I should need or have to phone the supplier because it's an internet based transaction! :cheesy:0 -
i thought the national delivery service was by another company not dhl, this is the one they charge £7.50 for the heavier orders....
i honestly dont know... then... and to sort it out once and for all maybe someone from approved foods could just let us know why some people are not having the trace and track service,
as i am only trying to help, i dont run approved foods...lol...Work to live= not live to work0 -

The van that brought my parcel was white and from I think Home Delivery Network or something similar, green-ish logo? I got no dispatch e-mail, but then I didn't for one of my other DHL deliveries either. I have seen it deliver in my area on Saturdays as it also delivers for a few catalogue companies, it has also been around quite late on, at around 6pm. Also it's the first delivery van I have seen that has a trolley for heavy parcels, neither Citylink nor DHL have one! :eek:0

Hello. Just wondering how the backlog is going now. I'm going on holiday on Thursday til Tuesday, and don't want my order to turn up when I'm away, but also would like it before the end of next week as I am off work. Trying to work out when to order for greatest chance of it turning up between 11th and 13th! :rolleyes:2009 total raised £2373.60:jthe new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
