My order of 14th Feb arrived today (thanks to my kind neighbour taking it in).
My OH left it in the lounge for me to unpack when i got home from work. being very excited i went straight for the OJ, picked it up as it gushed out everywhere all over the other boxes and my carpet  the carton had burst but from the top so had not spilt until i picked it up. (I am just thankful it didnt spill in my neighbours house)
TBH the damage to other goods was minimal, just some wet cardboard but it did take me a while to clean up. I did ring approvedfoods to tell them what had happened and they offered a refund but only needed it on the oj as everything else was ok.
Everything else was fine and exactly as expected and i am very happy with the food. Just got to hide it all so it doesnt disappear too quick !!0 -

Oh lordy, just seen this link on the other thread - http://www.bakinboys.co.uk/4-Pack-Triple-Choc-King-Cupcakes.html  They look even nicer than the other ones!
So much for the diet!
i had these at a party yesterday but they were £3 for a small pack!!! :eek:0 -
Placed an order yesterday about 2.00 ish and had it delivered today by 10.00 a.m. !! All intact and well packed so many thanks to Dan and his crew. I had placed an order earlier this month but many items were out of stock so took the option of cancelling it. Had received an email apologising for this and should I order again to advise Dan of order number and this would be despatched a.s.a.p. They must literally have picked, packed and sent order that same day. Great customer service in this particular instance.0

I too buy on the internet and having paid at the time of purchase, as is the norm, I expect the goods to be delivered promptly and accurately. I admit that this has not been the case with all of your orders recently and I can assure you that I am making every effort to remedy that.
The unsolicited media attention that we received has in many ways done us no favours and has caused us (and some of you) more than a few headaches, plenty of heartache, and tons of stress. Every time we think we have taken a step forwards some other problem rears its head. It is simply a matter of working under huge pressure that has led to oversights and mistakes. Our stock control system, for example, was supposed to solve most of the problems but working, as we were (still are) under pressure, input errors were made, which led to incomplete orders. I am confident that the major failings have now been dealt with. OK, human errors may still occur but not very often.
By next week we should be back on track (yes, I know I’ve optimistically said that before now) and so will be able to deal with orders in a calmer way, turning them round within the two to three days that we used to before chaos descended upon us.
Regarding orders going out not in strict chronological order; that has been against my explicit instructions. I am grateful that it has been brought to my attention. I will look into it and ensure that it doesn’t happen again.
Finally, I can only repeat my sincere apologies for the way things have gone for some of our customers and thank those of you who have been more than understanding and supportive
Humbly,
Dan0 -
I was told by DHL customer services that they could not leave perishable items with a neighbour or at an address other than the one on the label. Their driver ignored this and left it with my neighbour(thankfully!)
I wonder what DHL's definition of 'perishable' is?
(Items supplied by Approved Foods don't exactly have a short 'shelf life', do they?!)
Anyway, I doubt that the DHL drivers/delivery people actually know what's in packages and, from seeing the way they treat them, doubt they care much.0 -
My order of the 8th arrived yesterday (takes about a week to get to me) nothing refunded or substituted and a stronger box being used than before.
Everything fine - very happy - and I think that now I can say officially I have a 'pantry.'0 -

what Dan has done in a way of saying sorry is to make sure there were no hick-ups this time for wanda( as wanda cancelled their order by phoning Dan) Dan is the type of guy who genuinely dont like letting people down.
so this i should imagine this isnt the norm sellercheckuk,
i dont think people should take this as a que jump, but as just trying to keep a customer happy.
This is the way i am taking the situation.. and to be honest i dont mind at all, as it shows Dan is trying to make sure the people who have had a bit of a rough time with their orders over the last few weeks get the service that AF foods are striving to get back to.Work to live= not live to work0 -

Did you mean the 18th? If it was the 8th then that's almost three weeks! Even if it was the 18th I am perplexed as to how you got yours delivered to a remote Island in just over a week and I live only 2 hours drive away and haven't heard anything lol :rotfl:0 -

Poor old AF, they can't seem to win here - 3 weeks too long and 1 week too soon?
Don't be perplexed, the order went in on the 8th, was sent out on the 18th and got here yesterday 26th ...:D0
