Well i have just had my order from the 13 Feb delivered and what a mess.
All my hoola hoops have been crushed and they are also nicely soaked in delmonte how nice.
I do not blame DHL i remember Dan telling us he was going to be using stronger and better quality packaging hence the removal of the mse discount. however this box was cheap and tacky and not up to the job of transporting soup juice cartons and hoola hoops. the box was also missing the alternatives i was promised on the phone yesterday so my chicken soup has worked out quite expensive. i don't mid delays my complains with approved food are:
stock levels on the website not working correctly (so why have them)
Being offered alternatives instead of refund and then getting refund anyway (why waste my time on the phone)
Telling everyone that orders will be strictly proccesed in date order when they are clearly not.
well thats my rant over for now i have emailed Dan and hopefully he will sort it.0 -
Don't know whether anyone has experienced the problem I had this afternoon when making an order. Halfway through the order I noticed that a lot of the items I had put in my basket had magically duplicated making my total spend double...that's how I noticed because I was watching the weight of the order to keep delivery costs effective.
I had to go through my order again to remove the duplicates. Keep an eye out in case it happens to you. I hope it doesn't affect the stock control0 -

I had a different problem with the items in the basket, it was listing a number of items in stock but when I tried to put that number into my basket it came up with an error. At one point there were 11 of one type of juice, I wanted 8, it said there wasn't enough! I did after much messing about manage to get one into my basket and then changed it to 8 on the actual basket page, but it took over 5 minutes. I fully expect to not get any of them as I don't think the stock updating works properly. I also had the problem of items vanishing from my list. In the end I must have checked the whole list three times for errors.0 -

DHL tried to deliver my order of the 22/2 today so AF seem to be really back on track.:T
No refunds so guessing all is in stock again but again no despatch email (hence I wasnt in).
Seems that the despatch emails are not going out for anyone anymore?
Really pleased that the backlog seems to be cleared though.
That's *interesting*because I've not heard from Approved Foods about my order of 19/2, not had a despatch email and not had a delivery attempt.
Also, after I placed my order on 19/2, on the same day I sent Approved Foods a separate message via Google Checkout asking for confirmation that all items were in stock and would be allocated to my order, but have had no reply.0
