I would assume it was dropped then! It would seem odd otherwise for jars wrapped in bubble wrap to be smashed... I have had two parcels from DHL though and both were in perfect condition, I guess it depends on which route it takes?! Mine comes from the Preston Depot

The way some couriers treat the boxes is awful, I've seen them unloading them by literally tossing them out of the door. Comes down to the drivers sometimes and how busy they are, although surprised thats the case with big boxes.

We've had some deliveries of (empty) plastic boxes at work where it looks like someone has driven a forklift into the side of it in that there was a pointed impact point where it shattered.

Maybe they need to mark the boxes as fragile or look for another courier, saying that citylink are no better, I have seen the driver here throwing parcels around in the van looking for mine! :eek:

I'm on my 4th order.The last box was the only one that was damaged, but the contents were fine. When Dan first started using DHL, I had a couple of parcels that had Fragile and This way up marked on them. Maybe the box marking depends on the packer.

I must say I'm impressed by the way things do now seem to be getting out, might make up an order for myself now

Hi all!! Just to say this morning 8am doorbell goes and there i have 3 boxes from AF my orders from 9th, 14th and 21st!!! It wasnt DHL though it was a home shopping company van? Boxes are all intact everything was in stock and my cupboards are heeving lol!!

emailed them about my damaged order and had the items refunded within an hour
just hoping my order placed a couple of days ago gets here intact

well im glad your all getting your orders. i ordered 13 feb phone call today some items out of stock offered me refund or alternatives picked some alternatives, come home and i have a refund and still no despatch email. not happy

I never had a despatch email for any of them! Was just luck i was in i never expected all boxes at once though! Also last order on 5th feb i had a refund same day as the order avived so gingers crossed for you ams13
