I put an order in with Approved foods a couple of weeks ago. I expected delays - it came this morning.
They'd already rang me, to say that some soup I'd ordered was out of stock, and did I want a refund, or a replacement. The replacement was mushroom, which is fine (great in pies, actually LOL)
Order came this morning. All in good condition...well wrapped.....except the heinz Roasted chicken soup (400g) was in fact, lots and lots of 200g heinz baked beanz (reduced sugar, mind you). When I'd finished laughing, I rang them up. Very apologetic - they refunded my card within ten minutes, and I got told to keep the beans.
I have no complaints. Pleasant and courteous...but they need that phoneline sorting out. It's crackly LOL.
I may also send them an invoice, for the copious amounts of air freshener we're going to needProud to be dealing with my debts :T

my order from the 10th has just been delivered....unfortunately i was out, so its coming tomorrow now. I had no dispatch email so had no idea it was coming0

Hmmm lack of dispatch e-mails seem to be getting more common. anniemf2508 was your order with DHL or with the new courier for heavier parcels? I can understand not getting a DHL e-mail if the parcel has gone by a different courier but not if it is getting delivered by DHL.
Has anyone got a dispatch e-mail when they had ordered using the alternate courier?

I would assume that the DHL parcel tracking is an automated service, so long as each parcel gets scanned and tagged (or however it is done hehehe) when packed, I would think after that its just all computerised with some kind of bar-code reading? Does anyone know if this is the case? I confess I have no idea! But since it was all working a few weeks ago with no problem, or at least nobody was mentioning it, then has something changed?0

Just to update you lot,
I emailed AF about 15 mins ago and just got a speedy reply offering me a refund on the damaged goods, well pleased with the speedy responce. You cannot fault the customer servive, its fab:D0 -
My order of the late night on the 10th arrived - no dispatch email. Really happy with the rice which we have tried already- will report on the other thread. Also everything, juices, rice and snacks in great condition.
