miacat wrote:Thanks thriftlady, is there a difference in this and the more well known brands apart from the price. If there is'nt i can't see the point in paying (an extra £5.00 ) i think.
I think that the more expensive vodka are filtered an extra time and better quality ingredients.
Vodka that is produced in the EU is made from grain or molasses and filtered through charcoal.
And it seems that some vodkas are made from thing such as grapes and even potatoes.
Personally would think that the cheaper ones are made from potatoes and not filtered so much.
So putting it through a water filter would make it smoother.

Don't forget everything in Tesco value range has the "if you're unhappy with this product, take it back to the shop for a refund" guarantee on it.
I'm going to try a few things listed here if others have found them okay, but will take them back if they taste grim to me!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I see a lot of you use Tescos, whats wrong with Sainsburys? Is it more expensive? I can use both for big shops, online prefer Tescos, but use Sainsburys for daily needs. And the Value stuff, I use Sainsburys value tinned toms anyway (15p). Just curious really, probably missed something somewhere!Egg @ 3.9% until 1/7/06 = £1798
MBNA @ 2.9% until 1/9/06 = £5314
A & L @ 0.9% until 1/9/06 = £4743
MBNA @ 0.9% until 1/9/06 = £8768

Sainsburys can be more expensive but if buying the value brand items in there it is about the same as everywhere else.
E.g milk chocolate digestives 300g 25p in tescos and sainsburys.
I have a local sainsburys and somerfield all with a mile and half of me. If I want to do a proper shop that will not cost the earth I have to travel 7 miles to either a tescos or a morrisons.
Mind you I vowed after last night it is going to be a long time before I hand over my hard earned cash to Mr T's again.

tesco value nappies ... just wondered if there is anyone out there who has given these a bash? We are having a ridiculously tight month this month, we normally buy tescos own, but if we could save another few quid it would help no end, however not going to take the risk if it means poo leakage!!!!
I have one who is 3 and a half only in nappies at night (just started saving his poo's for the morning.. oh what joy it is to be a mum) ...
and I have one who is 20 months who does use the loo but its more luck than judgment at the moment so we are still very much reliant on a nappy that does it job!!!
Would really appreciate any feedback
thanks:EasterBun ...what more do I need to say?!

Klare if you have an Aldi or a Lidl, try their nappies, they are very cheap and better than Pampers.
