Avoiding payments

have been and am still in this position with ex constantly changing jobs, then signing on, have even got MP involved. CSA have taken ex to court according to them, last i heard the sheriff officers couldnt find him and then they did find him and did.......NOTHING, havent had a payment in the last 2 to 3 yrs. Told by CSA they have various ways of getting him but he is still dodging them.
I did (when i was still in court )mention in court about CSA payments though ex solicitor tried to stop me citing civil court and this was not the place but the sheriff did query it..... a route to take ?
put it in writing with CSA, threaten MP, make complaint official in writing, its the only way to get them to act .......
phoning is waste of time..... they seem to lose paperwork awful easily as well.
one famous comment to me by CSA worker .... we need to give your ex husband time to pay.....after all he may not know we are looking for him ......
yep wonders never cease, imagine a father not knowing he should pay for his children ........ sigh ....
good luck,

Rang up again this week, they don't do IMA's any more. and for some reason they've only got 1 address of employment even though he works for 3. I didn't get to speak to my usual caseworker, so don't know if there was confusment of some kind.
I spoke to my ex about a bit of money for my son's new school uniform, he said he'd be happy to pay for all of it (believe it when I see it) but didn't want me to tell the csa about it. he's a real odd one.TSB: £4900

Probably because he thinks that if the CSA think he can afford to buy uniform, he has an income which he may be trying to hide????0

looks like it's all tits up now. my ex has just had a baby, and this gives him an allowance, so the £6 odd he was supposed to be paying (and still hasn't) will be wiped as soon as he tells them about the change in circumstances. Apparently my case worker have been annoying employers by constantly ringing them for information lol. It might end up in court through the legal team if my ex keeps avoiding the csa... can't see it happening any time soon though.
grr this is so frustrating!TSB: £4900

Case now being sent to law enforcement, which means I'm going to lose my efficient caseworker. Say they will have the power to go round his house as nothing else is working. Fingers crossedTSB: £4900

Ok next update.
Liability papers have been sent to the court, and a hearing will be happening within 3 months apparently.
Been told by my ex that he's apparently going to be getting a new job soon, whether that actually happens, or whether the CSA get told by him I don't know.TSB: £4900

Update:
The debt has been made official in court and apparently it's now down to bailiffs to recover the debt. Haven't heard anything more than that.
I told my ex that the CSA was taking him to court, all he said was "no they're not" I replied with, "yes they really are" he's so nieve!TSB: £4900

Hey Heather - looks good, positive steps forward. Yes, he sounds very naive!0

Ok had a very stressed out son's dad ring me this morning saying that he's received a letter from the bailiffs and they're coming round next week to collect the debt. I know it's his fault that it's got to this stage, but for some reason I'm feeling guilty about it.
He suddenly offered £50 a month standing order, and asked if I could call the bailiffs off, I said if the £50 a month actually happens, then I'll suspend the CSA claim, but there is nothing I can do about the bailiffs as it's now out of the CSA's hands. He's now got 10 days to get a grand that he hasn't got.
Also he has our son for a few days next week, I'm worried that the bailiffs are going to turn up when he's there as I can see it being rather upsetting for a 5yr old
Why am I feeling so guilty about this, when it's his problem for not sorting out maintenance for so long.TSB: £4900
