The way I see it and I think alot of other NRPs will feel the same as you would think that the CSA workers were on commission (pretend not to take the call and slap a DEO on them, without their knowledge).

They are, well a bounes which is the same thing

the caseworker I've got has been able to do an assessment on 3 payslips. Saying that he'll be paying £5 a week. Even though he works at 3 different places, there's just not much evidence. The money he's supposed to be now giving me... well I'll be surprised if I receive any of it.

I was just wondering...does he have a second family now? Partner and children?

He lives with his fiance and she's due to pop a boy out in about 2 weeks. She's the one that made all the money with a good job, so god knows what they'll do if she decides not to go back to work.

She thinks he pays, he's the compulsive liar type (long story)

    Oh HeatherH

Not much advice really, just wanted to say I sympathise.... I am in exactly the same boat and your ex sounds just like mine (esp compulsive liar bit)! I too am desperate for him to show my daughter that he can be reliable and consistent but I am obviously asking too much.
Here's hoping we get some action from the CSA sooner rather than later.........

  • HeatherH, provide your caseworker with the addresses of the three employers and ask your caseworker to do an IMA (Interim maintenance assessment... thats if the CSA still does these) i.e. an artificiallly high imposed assessment until your ex provides full details for all three employers so a proper assessment can be done. Good Luck.

Not really - a bonus of about £30 per YEAR really is no incentive to get as much collected.
