Just sat and read this thread.
We are going through the same situation.
My OH had a child with her ex 7 years ago, after the child turned 1 years old the father moved out and he was allowed to see his son
every 2nd weekend and a tuesday/thursday evening.
I met my partner when the son was 4 years old, so that is 3 years ago. In the 6 years they have split he has paid roughly £500. He had a really good paid job. He always promised to setup his own arrangement but one excuse after another and he never did.
So my partner went to the CSA, they assessed him and told him he had to pay £200 a month.
This lasted 3 months, and he quit his job and has supposedly been unemployed for 4 months now, and the CSA say he isn't claiming JS.
However he afford to run his car and take his son to the pictures. amusement park and mcdonalds every fortnight.
Csa are on the case and have been for a while, just think its disgusting knowing that he refuses to pay for his responsibilty.
Hopefully you get your case sorted soon so you can move on and not have to worry about it anymore.2x £5 JD Voucher

Hmm, just had a call from the ex, and he swears blindly that he's paid some money last month and this month... he's going to get me copies of his pay slips, if what he says it true, how do I approach CSA with this information? As they keep saying that he hasn't paid.
If they haven't been giving me money that they should've been, I'm definitely going to be taking things further!TSB: £4900

It may be that his employer has not passed over the money yet - he will need to chase up his employer to ask what they have done with the money. They do however, have until the 19th of the month to get the money to the CSA.0

Someone is telling porkies....
At the weekend, I saw my ex and he showed me a payslip saying that child support had been paid on/deducted from my ex's wages last week. I rang the CSA to see if they'd received it, and they said no.
I asked them to follow it up as my ex had swears blindly that he's been paying. The case worker rang his work, and apparently they had sent 2 payments at the beginning of september that the csa still have no knowledge of. He works for a big company, so I'm hoping that it's more unlikely for them to be fiddling something.
My ex also still swears that he's paid the bailiff some money which the csa also have no knowledge of, but surprise surprise, the bailiff part of their system was down, so he's going to call me back tomorrow.
Something isn't right, most of the time I wouldn't believe my ex, but I don't think the csa are coming across very bright either at the moment.TSB: £4900

If you saw a payslip with money being deducted for child support, then he's not doing anything is he? It must be the employer or CSA.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61

After tomorrow's call that I'm supposed to be getting, I'll probably decide then how I'm going to proceedTSB: £4900

Employer has until the 19th of the month to transfer the money to CSA I think. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

That doesn't give an excuse of why they didn't pay in August, the missing payments, just seem to be a bit oddTSB: £4900

Good point, prob is the employer, though in 2009 I did have a call from CSA saying they had just found a payment that had got "lost" in their system from 2003:eek:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
