Why return it or neg the seller???

You know that the stuff in shops is sold at a profit?

Dave I am getting seriously worried here, I'm in total agreement with you again.

  • We all know how business works Soolin, I would liken it to Morrisons going into tescos and picking up there BOGOF offers and then selling them for the usual price, and viseversa, there would be uproar on here im sure.....
  • Dave profiteering is unethical trading....NOT the idea behind any business I would trade with.....

    Why?

If I want to buy a tin of branded beans and Morrison have them for 50p and I think that a reasonable price does it matter if they bought them from a large warehouse in Hounslow or through a BOGOF at Tesco? I don't think you understand business at all. If i choose not to trawl round all the shops finding the cheapest should I actually expect shops then to warn me that by travelling a mile down the road I can buy the same item cheaper

I am fully aware that if I choose to shop at Tesco I don't get all the Asda bargains I see advertised on the TV. It is a dreadful culture we have now where that is no longer my fault for not shopping around but 'their' fault for not making it very clear to me every time I purchase something that the goods might be available cheaper in a different supermarket.

No I'm sorry but that is so funny...

So all shops that make a profit are unethical  you must go very hungry and unshod then because I assure you that's why they sell to us.

  • This thread is an embarrassment.

All businesses buy to sell, I can't say any more than that.

Go and dry your eyes, erase the thread, hang your head, stand in the corner and muse over your thoroughly amusing het up faux paux.

The logistics amongst many other things would make it totally infeasible. Surprisingly.
  • Profit and profiteering are not the same, I suppose it boils down to opinion, I will leave you to yours...

Are you confusing businesses with charities?
