thanks to OP from me too. Bought yesterday. installed this morning, in literally 3minutes (I must say I was skeptical) and all running great! cant test the wireless aspect till later, but I expect that will work too.

    thanks :D
  • Its gone down to £28.69 at the web exclusive price !!!
  • I've edited the OP to show the new price of £28.69
    thats another 20% off! Bargain!

Anyone knows if this can be converted to act as a "printer server" to a network ready printer with an ethernet port?
I know it can be used as an access point, so I guess the answer is yes, but wouldnt know how to do it..
  • Has any one tried one of these with a Nintendo DS or a psp? The nintendo wi-fi site says it is not compatible.
Looking for a total solution for pc's and game consoles at this sort of price or less!!
  • Looks like this is firmware upgradable to the 125MB/s Super-G version

If anyone is having problems i would recommend trying the following:

    1. try and get modem working with your pc without using the router - that will elliminate pc or modem problems.

    2. Then simply connect the ethernet connection from modem to router and an additional ethernet connection from router to pc and install drivers cd.

If no luck at this stage try resetting the router - using a small pin and MAKE SURE you press it for about 2/3 secs as just pressing it once may not work.

normally the green light should stay on if all is done correctly and should only flash during setup.

    3. If still having problems check lose ethernet connections as sometimes they dont fit in properly (on mine the cable can fall out if i,m not carefull)

    4. If all fails simply return the router and get another one as it may be faulty. router

    hope this helps

Did a quick search on the net and found out that it does support WDS. You could turn this router into a wireless bridge. For the price, I'm off to PCWorld to get one ...
  • I bought one of these at the begaining of January, for £42.50. I am thinking of buying another & returning it still shrink wrapped for a refund using the older receipt. I could tell them I bought it as a present & when I gave it, they had ADSL so it won't work. Does anyone think I'd get away with this, as it's nearly 2 months ago? I wouldn't usually bother, but the £14 price difference is annoying!
    Next year we'll be millionaires!

You should be able to simply plug the network ready printer into the router via an ethernet cable and then reload the printer software specifying you want it connected as a network printer rather than directly to a PC.

This was all I had to do with my HP printer anyway.
if i had known then what i know now

Price now up to £34.99. Why didn't I get one yesterday as I intended to?
