    can anyone help me, I am looking to but one of these notebooks today as I missed the £299 offer, I thought this was all set up for wireless internet connection but the product spec is confusing me....

    on one page it says

    The part where it says Dell™ Wireless 1370 802.11b/g Mini PCI Card" is your wireless card. so you are all set for wireless

    The wireless card is separate mini-PCI card which is factory-fitted in this model. It looks like Dell's Marketing Department got a bit confused. It definitely has built-in wireless.

    Hi,
    Is crucial the cheapest for RAM I want the upgrade to 512, one MSE said that crucial was good for £36, is there anywhere else cheaper. Ebuyer looked as though they had one for £20, but I dont have a clue what I am looking for. Can someone please advise..

    I got the 15inch screen upgrade & 6 cell battery with my I1300 delivered today - £350

    I have pin-moded my i300 (400 to 533mhz)with a Pentium M 725a 1.6
    now overclocked to 2.13mhz from Ebay £50 (Details in https://www.notebookforums.com)

    I have also added 1 Gig of Ram from Ebay - £66

    I have now a very fast & high performing laptop for less than £470...
