I have much less powerful PC and they do pretty fine even on large screens with IP-TV channels. In general if the PC has a VGA out it means its graphic part is capable to send out that resolution very well.

With it you can either use converters and get a good picture on TV or connect directly a projector (if you have one) and get a very large screen for Summer films/football matches in the garden with friends.

Unless you have HDTV, for any normal TV screen VGA resolution will be perfectly OK.

Stupid girlie question, I upgraded my battery, what should it say so that I know I have got it. I have taken it off and the only numbers are 56kw? Is this the upgraded battery

This is the extended life battery (56kW). The standard battery would say 29kW.

ordered one yesterday - spoke to a 'colleague' in India! - never processed the order!

Spoke to a colleague in Dublin and asked why the order was not processed and he could not give a reply but only apologise for the inconvienience and he would process the order - SUCCESS! order acknowledgement e-mail within 5 mins - order confirmation 30mins - RESULT!!

Ordered another one today so 2 on order - same problems spoke to someone in INDIA for 20 mins only to find that the order was not processed again. Spoke to the same man again today having being told that you can only order ONE at a time and when I asked why? the guy in India said try again on Friday. When I spoke to the Dublin colleague he did not know as to why you could only order one - only that Dell were 'losing' money on this laptop! but he processed for me an identical laptop for the same money as of yesterday for £314.00 which includes the higher rated battery. All in all an EXCELLENT RESULT
