I got last weeks offer of the more expensive 1300, upgraded to the bigger screen and love it! Somebody nearby must have wi-fi because I can use their connection. It's great to sit in the living room instead of at the desktop under the stairs while I'm surfing!

If you have not received it, then you have not bought it. :D

Sarcastic get - you know what I meant....:p
  • Has anyone who got the laptop with the bigger screen/better battery rec'd it, and if so does it initially seem the upgrades were worth the money?

I'm tempted to order one tomorrow and go for the two upgrades.

Looks like it was having a holiday with mine, it arrived in Germany at exactly the same time! Good news is that at 5.59 today it's out for delivery. Hopefully we should receive them today.

    Shhh, don't let on..

Actually I agree with what was said. It seems a good sturdy little laptop, easy to use even for a newbie like me and very easy to set up.

Keys are responsive and all in all I am very pleased with it.

Mine arrived at 7.30 this morning. *Rubs bleary eyes*.

Not switched it on yet as I've got a lot to do today and if I start playing.........

I want a system disk - I take it these cost? I'm fond of reformatting to get shot of any rubbish supplied and starting from fresh untouched os as it were but reading through the bumph it seems I can't do this unless I get a disk from Dell?

    Anyone know offhand how much?
