-Windows XP Home runs Slow With 256mb and when Loaded with Dell`s Software, Fresh install of XP Pro Speeds it up.
-Wireless Works Fine

hmmm cheers for that. Im still not sure now doh! UPS definitely says EXPRESS SAVER is next day delivery within EU. guess that doesnt necessarily mean alot....

It was collected from DELL today, and says in transit now. I've taken tomorrow off now so fingers crossed it DOES come.

I would recommend to try OpenOffice (https://www.openoffice.org). Absolutely no need for reformatting or importing/exporting. It does the job in the same format as MS Word/Excel.
I doubt you will find legal copies of Office very cheaply around. But with openOffice (which is free and open source) you have no more problems!0 -

just got off the phone to dell. kicked up a stink about the offer and the hassle to get it refused the upgrades and guess what? one is on its way!!!!!!!
