Lol soo, maybe the person you spoke to had had enough and decided to just pluck figures from the air. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it really.
So far, I've had 3 emails.....the offer, the booking email and the order email with customer number. Just checked on Dell site and none of the numbers are recognised although it does say it can take up to 72 hours which I'm assuming doesn't include Sat/Sun.Herman - MP for all!0 -
How do you manage the cashback on this offer?????? I thought with cash back, you had to order online?????? am I missing something here???0

Ok - ordered on Sunday via web - rang today to cancel. Was offered a Colour printer, a digital camera not to cancel - held my ground - finally offered the £40 difference as a refund on delivery! RESULT! and QUIDCO on original price....V Happy now!
BTW colour printer and digital camera were valued at less than £20 each! I checked!!0 -

Ok folks, about to take the plunge and attempt to join the farce and order one.
What's the best geographic number to dial?
Will either be using a mobile with muchos free minutes or via 18866 (ok not the cheapest but only 4p).
Secondly, is the screen upgrade worth it? - will I notice that much difference and is the unit any larger as a result?0 -
from what I was told the unit is the same size - less bezel (edging).
I drew the screens on a box haha yes sad I know, and IMHO the extra is worth it. Its definitely an inch width and height extra. But depends what you will use it for. the laptop is so cheap I decided £30 (10%) was a premium worth paying for a slightly larger screen (I AM used to a 19" tft on my desktop tho).
Good luck0 -
coolforcash wrote:You're right - just found it using that code. That means you can click via Quidco and get 4.5% cashback too so £379 seems better value than the £299 "deal". - £80 more for double the memory, bigger screen and bigger hard drive. Plus no need to call that friendly order line because all done online!
How did you get it to £379?0 -

£397 (Dell price) * 0.955 (4.5% Quidco cashback) = £3790
