Got to pack for a holiday plus choose a new kitchen.. can't trust anyone with those! Plus OH has crashed out on the sofa and is refusing to wake up! (but he was up at 6am for work so I'm leaving for a bit)

Helen do you eat eggs and fish etc? Might be that you need a bit more variety in your diet Sorry I'm just of the conviction that when people are constipated the best way of addressing it is diet
I'd certainly give it a try before you get drugs for it but obviously it's up to you - if ti gets too uncomfy then I would probably be speaking to the GP too :rotfl:

oh and i had a good(well better than normal sleep last night!) milk came in so she has stopped screaming and is feeding every 4 hours and sleeping or looking around:D tomorrow is first day at it all alone:(

OK, I'm feeling a bit rough, not sure why just kinda poorly and weak, so sorry if I miss anyone.

Helen, you can tell the doc any time really, can even just do it over the phone and ask your pharmasist for something for the bloat. I had it really bad so I feel for ya! Thankfully it's now pretty much gone unless I get constipated again (tin of sweetcorn sorts me out). Peppermint tea helped a bit for me. I put on loads of weight and only lost it when I hit 10 weeks (when the bloating stopped). I'm 13 tomorrow (weeks):rotfl:

Elle, Happy Birthday!!!! I've been in my maternity jeans for 3 weeks. ALthough I can now fit back into my normal jeans as the bloated belly has went down but maternity jeans are comfier. Mothercare ones with the full jersey bump bit.

Mel, glad you and OH are back on track! It's so easy to loose it for a while. I'm like you, he ignores me and I go all cold and push him away so he ignores me more! My favourite word is 'fine.' :rolleyes:

Caz, glad she is settling down now, demanding little madame that she is!! Sure you will cope fine, we women usually do! Cheers for reviewing the sling for me

well i just put myself in a carp mood ... sorting out my bills for the next month as you do and realised how bloody broke i am and i got 6 vistors with in the next 4 weeks (5 of which are coming at once as a suprise for OH) ... can i cry now or later x
