Nope.. It was Grandma's birthday too and she's 80 so she had a special cake but we left before she cut it so we're going to see her on Friday and collect our pieces (it's fruit cake, so will last).
Did you see my post the other day about the Roald Dahl Giant Chocolate Cupcake i got as a present from the cleaners at work? Haven't opened it yet, but it looks good - has buttercream, marshmallows, Malteasers and chocolate curls on the top!0 -
They're lovely cakes Elle... Hubby bought me one back from Tesco once because it was reduced lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

well I've decided on a definite shortlist of girls names I told OH he as to choose from it
* Layla-Rose H
*Lilly-Rose H
* Isabella ???? H (possibly Eden as middle name)
oh and if it is a she and she arrives on the 5th she will also have Hilda inbetween the middle name and the 'H' as 5th was my Gt Grandma's B-day and that was the compromise OH n I came to :T0 -
Sami, are any of those Shakespearean names?! Obviously, as you rightly said, you have the right to change your mind at any time!
My Grandparents names are Phyllis Mary, Wilfred Donald, Constance Dorothy and Cyril Edger... methinks I might be steering clear of those! :eek:0 -
isabella rose is nice sami... but out of the top two lily rose is my fav x

Mary and Dorothy are ok as middle names I think and obviously I like Edger
Rose is actually FIL's Mum's name but I've always liked it, i was a bit put off because one her other grandkids is a Rosie but we don't see them much and she's about 12 so I decided it didn't matter
Searching - for some reason i just don't like "Isabella Rose"
Tara - I'm sure bump will be gorgeous just like Chris, although hubby is worried that Chris nicked all the cute genes and there'll be non left for this one :eek: I hope that's not the case!!0 -
up to you aint it luv
... awww bless your OH... my OH spends ages trying to work out what this one will look like as we both have strong genes ... its freaky how much he looks like his dad and i do look so much like my mother (although i hate to admit that) OH is worried our genes will clash and he look awful :rotfl: x
