LOL no it was OH's Mum who suggested it and OH actually liked it, I never even thought of his 'real' name until uit was posted here!

I think what started to make me go off Warren was going to scotland, it just dont sound right when they say it lol
I know I dont live in Scotland, but OH is Scottish as is his Mum and her family and little brother, and it sounds a bit like they are saying 'warning' :rotfl:
Aston is a great name :D

Actually, to save me having to do the pregnant and giving birth bit again, could I just steal Aston? He's so cute! :D

No MFD this morning - yet. I hope he's making an appearance before his eviction date. If you are around - did you manage to get any sleep last night - i'd be far too excited, just two sleeps (max) away from meeting the bump!

I've had the most beautiful, gummy smile this morning! I'm trying to make her do it again so I can send a pic to OH at work - but she's just looking at me like i'm crazy  .

Did anyone see the programme about surrogacy(sp?) on Monday night? After crying my way through it (still got damn hormones), I wondered if any of you ladies actually like pregnancy that much, that you could go through it for someone else?
Talking to my friend about it the other day, she loves being pregnant, but doesn't want anymore children, she's got her own DD and DS, and also step-DD and step-DS.
I realised i really don't like being pregnant - but like the end result!

    Hi everyone,

Some more questions for ya after my appointment yesterday.

If someone's up for a maths question, If my due date is 26/06/09 how many weeks does that make me now?

When do I find out about ante natal classes?

Only just got out of bed and got so much to do before leaving to visit my gran in hospital at 12, hence why I sound like I'm in a rush.

    Thanks all.

I think my OH is coming down with it too :( he woke up at about 12:30 last night groaned in pain and hopped off to the loo then woke me up this morning looking for imodium, I txt him to see how he was n he's just called to say he feels sick but not been and feels generally yuk.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with an OH who has strange habits, He insists on sitting on the loo for about 10mins before we go anywhere!! He says its just in case so he doesn't have to go while we are out  doesn't he know if he needs to or not?!?!
    :rotfl:

Lol MEN! My o.h had it last week, why can't men clean after themselves instead of leaving the loo a mess? arrgh lol (Ok, maybe i'm evil but i always complain please do make the loo look presentable!!).It's our only loo in the house and guess who's always left to clean it? (bleugh) I laugh and say you know your in love when you find yourself cleaning someone elses poop! Sometimes it feels like cleaning poop is all i do with having 2 kids still in nappies!!d
If google doesn't know it, how should i?

Jvic, your midwife should tell you about local antenatal classes... But you might have to ask... I had to ask the first time round but this time I was told about them...

How many weeks pregnant are you? No idea... Go to babycentre.co.uk and sign up for their weekly email, they'll let you know lol...

3onitsway, I watched the surrogacy thing (wasn't that woman foolish for letting the couple stay with her for the first 2 days after the birth... She should of sent them straight away so she could adjust without bonding and they could settle straight into parenting!) And no, I wouldn't surrogate... I really don't like being pregnant!

Niknaknoo, I trained hubby to scrubb his own skid marks as soon as he moved in! I clean the inside of the loo but I also make sure he cleans the outside... And the wall behind... I'm not the one who sprays pee everywhere in the middle of the night so why should I wipe it up?!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks. She told me about the Parentcraft class and breastfeeding class yesterday I just thought it's odd that she didn't mention ante natal yet considering she kept saying I was 29 weeks pregnant (turns out I'm 24 weeks pregnant so I don't know why she kept saying that)

Are the parentcraft classes what they call antenatals though? Or are they something different?

I'm wondering if Aston will get more popular now that JLS are around? surely they will be successful once they are allowed to have an album!

Well had my cornflakes and I'm awake - ish. Need to do more washing today and tidy the kitchen. Then my personal target is to hit the mountain of clean washing and fold it and maybe even get a head start on the mountain of clothes in the wardrobe - take out stuff I'll never wear again and stuff I'll want to wear after Roo arrives - it can go in the loft till I can fit it again :)
:rotfl:I read that wrong and thought you meant you couldn't fit through the loft hatch :o:rotfl:
I want to get in my mum's loft to find my old maternity stuff (that is too small) but Dad insists it's not there and mum said she'll physically pin me down if I try to go up a ladder to get in there  She seems to have forgotten I was up a ladder stripping wall paper and painting when I was ready to pop last time!

The way she put it I assumed there was only one parentcraft class and I thought there would be more than that.

I would surrogate but not for just anyone... many years ago I considered it for my cousin because she has haemophilia - a variety called Von Villebrandts (I think that's how it's spelt) disease. It meant that they weren't sure she could get pregnant, then carry it full term OR give birth - any one of the stages could have killed her if she'd started bleeding. They wanted to try and now have 2 lovely kids - but if the first try had been too dangerous I would have offered to carry them for her rather than her put herself at risk...

I'd probably also consider it for close friends, but I don't think I could do it for strangers...

I just googled it and it looks like they are the same things but I thought there would be more to it. I feel so unprepared and my idwife just makes me more confused.
