Well done snuffilin, and what a fantastic name!!

My ticker says 69 days... I'm just off to check the cupboards now but pretty sure there's nothing... Might have to settle for some digestive biscuits... Ooooh.... I just remembered the choccy biccys upstairs by the bed... All may not be lost....

  • Just a thought about 4d scans for those of you who weren't around...

I had to go back twice for mine because Bubba wouldn't play ball...which in the end took me to about 31 weeks. Much longer and I wouldn't have been able to have one (they don't do them after 32 weeks because there is not enough fluid to get a clear picture. So don't leave it until the last minute - you may be very disappointed.

Hi Everyone, hope you are all well!

Have not ben logged in for a while since having my baby boy on Monday 2nd of March. Axel was born by caesarian nearly 2 weeks early. He was breach and due to his position and the low amount of fluid they decided to get him out early. A bit unexpected as I only came in on Monday morning to try to have him turned. At 13.09 he was born weighing 3490g (sorry ,don't know lb & oz). Everything went really well and we were able to come home Wednesday lunchtime.

I was quite scared of having a c-section, it was pretty much my nightmare scenario but it turned out not to be a big deal at all. I was also a little disappointed to not get to experience the labour and birth, sort o felt like I was missing out but once Axel was here it did not matter anymore how he got here.

I will keep following the thread to keep me updated on how you all get on.

42 days give or take a fortnight

Thats what my Mum said, always count down till 42 weeks! My brother was born at 38 weeks, and Mum expected that with me, but I stayed in till 42 weeks and she was very, very fed up!

I'm hoping for EDD+4, 24th of April. That'd be most convient for everyone :rotfl:

Well we had some bad news today, OH is being laid off his job at the end of the month :(
Perfect timing, but at least we have got all the baby stuff.
I just hope he manages to find something by then.
I have 42 days left too and I'm seriously thinking about leaving it to 38 weeks then if i've not given birth asking for a section, I cant bear to get much more bigger *cries* apparently they wont let me got over by more than a week max, but I seriously dont see how I can cope with another 6 weeks worth of growth!

Believe me, you will find a way for every day to be the 'best' day for him to be born.

I was saying to hubby this morning that mathematically this would be the best day for him to be born...
    Hubbys birthday is 3/6
    My birthday is 6/9
    Today is 9/3

    Good eh?

Doesn't look like Bubba was listening though!!

Awww AM, I'm sorry. I can sympathise - OH's contract expires on our Due Date! The not knowing is pretty scary. Hope he finds something decent quickly.

I don't understand how I can physically get any bigger. I mean, if bump sticks out much more, I'll fall over!
