This happened before I got pregnant this time btw! Oh and it was 12years ago!! I know every pregnancy is different though so who knows eh.

I don't normally eat until about 7pm as neither me or OH are home by then but it's def a contributing factor :D

Emlou - I can't wait to get to the stage where I am obviously pg! Need to order myself on of them body pillos though as already getting uncomfortable to sleep.

I read you should sleep on your left as it's better for bean but my hip gets so painful if I stay on my left side all night - I have a memory foam mattress but still sore!

things like you should only sleep on your left side make me wonder how on earth our mothers ever gave birth to us, they never had advice like that and we are all alive! its not like you can control how you sleep once you're off anyway, i used to wake up sleeping on my front even right up to 20 something weeks!

I'm normally pretty good and don't move much - after my two boob ops I had to lie on my back for ages it was far too painful to move so I didn't!
I have trained myself not to lie on my back anymore - I do move onto my stomach when my alarm goes off and I stay that way for about 20mins while I try to wake up.

Agree thou - sometimes there's far too much advice and you think they survived in the old days so why not now.

Em - can't remember - is this your first? are you having a HB?

I'm 20+6 today and could probably still comfortably sleep on my front, but I don't usually anyway so I don't think I've done it recently. I keep waking up on my back though. Not sure if I should get a long sleep pillow - are they supposed to keep you on your side all night, or just make it comfier if you can stay on your side by yourself?

I need one of those things you can get for newborns to keep them on their back!

Duh - just read your sig!!

Elle - I saw some on ebay the woman makes them herself in all different shapes and sizes with details of what you can use them for. Think they were near the top if you search for Maternity Pillows.

I want a 5 foot one - will put part of it between my legs to help my hips and then have the rest under my bump and my boobs. I think it's to help you be comfy and stay on your side by yourself. I just get OH to cwtch right into me so I can't roll over - he likes to stroke my bump in his sleep.

Damn - Chelsea just scored. Got a soft spot for Cov as birth place of mam and dad xx

i think those pillows are meant to go between your legs and under your bump so you cant roll over? i'm probably wrong though! they should make those anti roll newborn things for men to keep them on their side of the bed!!

it is my first baby, a little boy, due yesterday  but being lazy. he already takes after his dad by the looks of it! and sorry but i dont know what HB means  i'm a bit slow on the uptake these days, baby brain and all!!
