TBH I think it's a ford thing, seatbelts not long enough, OH is going to have a try this morning, if not I'm gonna go with the mothercare one as it's only £150, lies flat then i wont feel so guilty when I change it for a stroller, which I know I'm going to do lol

Hi AM - maybe i'm stating the obvious but!
I've got the Ventura car seat, with the Silver Cross Classic - and it fits ok in the back of my Citreon at either side, but not in the middle seat. But, i've switched off the passenger airbag, and had her in the front - where she only fits if i push the seat back to as far back as it will go. (Only useful if you have switch-off-able airbags!)
So - try the carseat in different seats in the car - as in mine, the seatbelts are different lengths!

Good morning - or is that afternoon now?!!

Got up about 10.30am and sat in bed reading for a bit - heaven!

One load of washing in but can't be arsed to do much more - might watch footy in a bit and do some overtime - hardly relaxing but every penny counts!

    Mookie - (((((hugs)))))

MFD and emlou - labour vibes coming your way

Sami - thanks for offering to come with me. I have told OH in no uncertain terms that he's coming with me. He works in Halewood so I told him I'll be there at 5.30pm and will sit outside beeping the horn until he gets his a$$ in the car. Got to be at the Women's for 6pm - they will do scan and bloods for £150. Just wonder how long it will take to get the results back?
Thought when you said you were at MIL's and you said you were popping on here that you were popping in to see me!!

Asked OH whether he wants me to tell him any news after first scan (like if it's twins) or does he want to wait the 4 days until the private scan so it's a surprise. He said no point as I'd never keep it secret that long anyway - I would be saying 'I'm not telling you' whilst nodding my head with a big stupid grin on my face :rotfl:

going to ASDA later to get loads of treats as you girls also put me in the mood but I never have anything in - haribo, ice-cream, cakes, muffins, chocolate

    Labour vibes to MFD, emlou:)

Not much to say today really, Sorted through the three bin bags of baby clothes that my sister dropped off on Thursday, from her friend!!
Only kept about a carrier bag full and that included a few little hats and shoes suitable from ages 6mths up to 18mths...some of the stuff hadn't even been washed and had sick on it and it all stinks of cig smoke:eek:...I will wash all the little bits I have kept, but may end up just sending it all to the charity shop if the smell doesn't come out.
Also, just to let you all know, long walks don't bring on labour, they just make you flaming ache:p

I didn't go back far enough to find out why AF had an early sweep, will do that now. I must be mad, I am due next Thursday and have ds1 friend coming over for dinner on the Tuesday:rolleyes:

ETA - AF - hope the sweep works for you, just read the post.

    Mel x

Happy Birthday Helen - give it a few weeks am sure you'll be feeling better soon.

I have just looked in the mirror with my glasses on and OMG I have tons of spots  . Even in my teens I only got about 2 at a time but I've got about 15.

Two conflicting OWT - it's a boy because of the extra testosterone. It's a girl taking away all my beauty! Could be twins after all - roll on Thursday.

Does anyone else in first trimester find bump looks bigger at different times of the day? I look tiny in the morning and then around 6pm onwards look HUGE!!
