elle have you seen the "pull out and keep" list at the back of the catalogue I think its quite useful (although did cross off lots of the stuff as unnecessary)

Edit - I'm off to bed now nighty night x

Unnecessary, maybe.. but I can see myself ending up with most of it, via my mum's shopping sprees! I know she's already got a copy of the catalogue too so that's probably what she's working off!

Hmm.. contemplating having a Magnum.. :o Is it ice cream time everyone?

ETA: Oh, timely kicks from baby - he agrees so it must be! :D

Remember how I said I was leaning towards pink girly things in catalogues before? I've now swung back the other way (coincidentially! ;)) and I'm preferring the blue things in the Babies R Us one and on the Additions website :D Fickle, I know!
  • EDD + 5 in the MFD House and all's still quiet :p

I am wide awake though, Bubba has terrible hiccups and I felt mean subjecting poor hubby to me tossing and turning when I couldn't get comfortable.

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday, drove about 25 mins to a massive Asda Supercentre and had a mooch around. Had a constructive work call along the way (YAY some non-baby talk for a while!!) and then picked up a KFC bargain bucket for me and DH on the way home.

Didn't buy much but it was nice to get out on an adventure without wondering 'what if he comes?' all the time. If he bl00dy comes I will deal with it and somebody will have to come and get me and sort my car out. I was 25 minutes away from home but probably only 10 minutes from most of Hubbys employees so I could have had someone with me soon enough ;) Do you think hubby would pay them a bonus for collecting his labouring wife and bringing her home? :D

Went to the party last night which was 'fun'!!! Managed til about 10pm then I was just too hot to stay. I wasn't even dancing and nobody else thought it was that warm but I was burning up. Bubba made me suffer for a couple of hours when we got home - don't think he was too impressed with the bass from the music.

Lots of 'OMG that is the longest pregnancy ever' comments from extended family and friends. Hubby just kept telling everybody that he was so impressed with how I dealt with the pregnancy that he has ordered another month of quiet so he can spend some more time with me - bless :A

Still getting tons of texts but the tone has now changed to 'thinking of you' and 'hope you are okay' - part of me wants to tell them where to go but part of me just wants to laugh...do they really think it means something different :rotfl:

Mooki - I think perhaps some training for your secretary about what to watch out for and what is an appropriate way to intervene/check that things are okay is required. I hope you are okay.

Vaccuum bags - great for saving space but do take care with them, they are very heavy when full and have the air sucked out.

AF - lucky you getting an early sweep!! My MW wouldn't do one, it's against the guidelines or something  I am having another one on Monday.

Ooo - Hubby did get lots of 'you just need to get in there and do the deed' comments from other fathers...hope he was taking notice ;):D

Heehee - that looonnnggg post has just wasted 40 mins!!

Morning MFD - Glad to hear you had a good day yesterday. Sending you lots of labour vibes and hope you have bubba in your arms soon.

I am feeling absolutely pooped - DS has resorted to waking at 4.30m every morning and he keeps coming to wake me to show me what "delights" he has left me. This morning was washing powder all over my kitchen. I so do not appreciate hoovering and mopping at 5am  . I doubt the neighbours like it much either but hey ho I have to put up with their howling dog, slamming doors and parties.

I just want my bed but DS will not settle back down and I daren't leave him as I hate to think what other tricks he has up his sleeve.

Roll on when daddy gets back in May then he can take over while I do absolutely nothing :j

I really did LOVE mine! :D. I still think they are one of the best looking prams too :p. Poor thing hasn't really had an outing this time around as Phil & Ted rules!. All four of us went to the big retail park in Speke this afternoon and Jamie was snug as a bug in the cocoon! :T.

AM, I was going to ask Sami's Q as the carseat fitted in my Punto. Tbh, I didn't attach the carset to the pram that much as I preferred Poppy to lie flat and she looked so cute!

    xx
TBH I think it's a ford thing, seatbelts not long enough, OH is going to have a try this morning, if not I'm gonna go with the mothercare one as it's only £150, lies flat then i wont feel so guilty when I change it for a stroller, which I know I'm going to do lol

I heard it's a problem in Ford cars too. Unfortunately OH and I bother have Fords (Focus and Fiesta) and that's the car seat I'd have to go with the Freeway Linear.. Sooo need to track one down and try it out so I can get over that idea and search for another pram! :(

Sorted as in definitely Edgar? :)
Yep as mentiond above, majority of complaints i;ve seen are with fords lol
