Sorry 3onitsway, that was me....It was starting to get very long, and with a few more due any day I thought I best shorten it a bit. I feel bad now:(

    Firstly congrats to weezel !!!!

Has taken me a while to catch up to all that has been happening, but have read through and have made notes !!!
Mrs Moc - not really sure what to say, but ((hugs)) and we are all hear to listen if you need us
MFD - if you still need them BIG LABOUR VIBES
Lucifa - congrats and Nathan is very cute
Krystal - hugs to you too !! How did hubbys interview go? i had my 'meeting' today and we have been told that there are going to be displacements, but they cant tell us how many, we have to go and have 1 to 1s with our manager next week and get a score based on 5 things / skills and these will be sent to our head office who will make the decision. We will know before the 28th March:eek: so I only have 3 weeks to know if I get to keep my job. We have however been told that none of us will be made redundant, but will be moved down a level, which I am not too happy about as I have spent the last 5 years working up a level:rotfl:

I have not left anyone out on purpose, but cant think of anything else to say

    :D to everyone !!!

mrs tine- i know from a prev post you have wooden floors in your house, do you have them in all the rooms or have you different flooring in bathroom/kitchen?

... i know not very pregnancy linked, but we're getting new flooring in and want something that will easy and quick to keep clean (for either of us ) once baby is here

Back from bath and dinner :)

We have laminate in the hall, livingroom/dining room and nursery - tiles in the kitchen, downstairs loo and ensuite bathroom - carpets on the stairs, landing, 2 larger bedrooms and family bathroom (why, why, why would anyone want carpet in a bathroom???). Plans moving forward are to have laminate/wooden flooring in our bedroom too but possibly keep the carpet in the 2nd bedroom - mainly for cost reasons and it will also stay on the stairs and landing - the work involved in making it wooden would be horrendous and pricey! The family bathroom WILL have a tiled floor eventually! When I can afford it :)

Is it easier to keep clean... YES! :D

I have 2 black cats and a GSD/BC cross and they ALL shed tonnes - then you have the mud aspect as we live in a village and all 3 of them go out loads. With laminate you just either run a broom round (or in my case the dyson - the dog flips at brooms... she was a rescue and was obviously beaten at some point because she's petrified of them!) and either get one of them flash floor wiperwith spay thing built in or once in a while run a mop round it. We use the flash thing because with the pets we have a lot of muddy paw prints and it's quick to just whizz round :)

Added advantage will be when little one comes any sick, spills, wees etc will be easy to just mop up - no scrubbing or blotting or spending hours on my knees cleaning. We will get some more rugs though, but they will be ones that can go in the washing machine if dirty :)
