thanks tia. thats what i'm thinking, spilsl etc and i cnat go a week wthout knocking a glass over (always blackcurrant)
also we dont have a hallway, our front doos opens straight into the sitting room, so am thinking with a buggy/pram a carpet would egt dirty pretty quick. did think a rung owuld be nice as well
I suggest Grey for any rugs, my lovely beige carpet is now decidedly grey from 2 yrs of pram/shoes/sick/wee/juice etc:(

Congratulations Weezl!!! Looking forward to some pics when you have time.
Yay, I felt baby move (definitely) for the first time tonight. I've had a few times in the last week where I thought I might have done, but could have been a BH, but this was definitely two little kicks! I'm 10 weeks tomorrow. I didn't feel the first one move until about 16 weeks but the last one I felt around now too. Either I have sensitive inners, or vigorous kickers I think!
I think its normal to feel it that early for 2nd/3rd time I thought I felt this one at 11ish weeks but wasn't sure until 12wks when I knew it was bubs for sure :D

    PS Congrats Weezl!!!!!!!!!:T:j
Did you manage to take the Calcium? if so did it work?
    Photos please!!!:D

Are you sure it's not gas/wind popping?

There's no way you'd feel a kick at 10 weeks

This is my third, so I know what a kick feels like! As I'm 40, I also have a fair few years of knowing what wind feels like!

As I say, I also felt no 2 at the same stage, and my obstetrician didn't dispute that was what it was. In fact he asked me at 12 weeks in that pregnancy whether I'd felt movement yet, so I guess he's had other woman who have felt it at the same kind of stage. At 10 weeks the baby is moving a lot, so its not impossible to feel it, depending on where it is positioned, your amount of body fat, muscle tone and sheer good luck.

Sorry, I just can't believe that anyone could feel kicks at 10 weeks ~ how tiny is a baby at that many weeks?!

Some movement being felt I could understand, but not a definite kick/s.

    Congratulations Weezl, and very timely!!

MM, sorry to hear about the 'displacements' I suppose at least you will have a job even in the worst case scenario... Maybe when the economy picks back up it would be easy enough for whoever gets put down a level to be moved back up? Hubby had his interview today but was a little unnerved by the whole thing... It was more of a personality check than an ability interview so he really has no idea... We'll know by 18th if he still has a job... And if he doesn't then he will be out of work by 31st...

Sami, my husband buys all his own clothes... I always look at nice expnesive things then think 'Nah, he'll probably get something similar in primark...'

Am lying in bed with hubby at the min, we were all cuddled up together just and baby went nuts battering away at his hand lol...

Oh, and I'm feeling loads better than earlier, even more so after house group, thanks guys for being here to moan at :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

I'm feeling a bit miserable tonight. Not sure why, just a very tiring day with lots of morning sickness. Strawberry Cheesecake icecream is helping though!

You might find this discussion by 2nd and 3rd timers interesting then. It was the first one which came up on a google search.

    http://www.mothering.com/discussions/archive/index.php/t-725992.html

At 10 weeks the average baby is about 3.5cm from crown to rump, and as this website shows is kicking and moving a lot.

    http://www.lone-parenting.org/pregnancy/pregnancy-week-10.html

In fact my bubs may be bigger than this, as when it was measured at 6 weeks it was at the very highest range on the normal scale (0.9mm when the average is 0.5mm)

hth. What number baby are you on, and when did you first feel movement for them all then?

As I predicted... None of the girls had any apart from me and the other pregnant one (who ate 2!)... Hubby had 2 when he came down... And I had the last one before we came upstairs... I only put the one box out.... Bakewell slices for breakfast ;)

Off to watch QI then sleep, nonight ladies xx
