MFD, those slippers are very similar to some I wore on my wedding day... (Took my very expensive 4inch heels off as soon as we got to the reception venue!)

Here's a piccie of the little cardi my Nan got a friend of hers to knit for the baby to come home in... She also asked her friend to put an extra couple of rows in so we'll probably have to fold the sleeves over...

Hubby just called and told me the procedure he's got to go through for his job... Looks like he'll know by the 18th if his job is safe, but he thinks there are others closer to the chopping block... And someone he works with turned round and told him 'it's ok for you, you've got kids so you'll get benefits...' He was more than a little put out by it!

I just took a wee cleaning frenzy and got 3 blackbags and 2 boxes of rubbish out our bedroom plus a bag of charity shop clothes! :eek: It's still a mess though, well, dirty to be honest. Bleurgh!

Now my back hurts and I have todays dishes to be done. Ah well, it's kiddy bedtime soon

I don't know what I want for dinner but I need something proper (kids had pork chops I didn't fancy them). Hmmm... frozen chicken breast things and baby tatters with some frozen corn on the cob? Actually I really fancy chilli salt chicken from chinease but I've no cash! Or a potato fritter...

do you remember oven crunchies? like little tiny hash browns? been craving them for weeks but cant find the things, think they must have stopped doing them havent had them since i was small!

Sorry Krystal, I did see the pic when you first posted it and forgot to mention it!

It's lovely! We have the one of two boys 'brothers' as it looks just like my two. The big one looking after the little one who is either falling or (if like DS2) throwing a strop!

They have some lovely ones don't they, I was looking at the range the other day... Hubby was going to get the willow tree one originally but when he saw the blue jeans one with the little girl he had to get it instead...

emlou, last week we had a veggie frozen mix, think it was Tescos mediterranean mix. Anyway, it had little potatoes in it like those, also peppers, onion(which I avoided) and other stuff. Very yummy!
