Any one know how late you can request a homebirth? I had everything organised and childcare sorted but things have changed a bit and now thinking about having a homebirth but i'm already 30 weeks gone!
Hi Claire, we didn't even mention we wanted one til 36 weeks! All looking fine for one now. In our trust they won't let you have one before 37 weeks anyway (risk of certain complications which are hard to manage in a home environment) so you've plenty of time

Congratularions to Durham and the little baby girl!! Look forward to reading your birth story.
I slept from 3pm till half 5 when OH came back with DS. I still felt dreadful and had a little cry. I got to put DS to bed though as had a wee bit of energy and when I came down OH had gone. I checked my phone and he had sent me text saying he was off to Tesco to buy cake to cheer me up and he has ordered a curry from my fave curry place across town and has gone to fetch it! I love him so much he is wonderful.
Going to try to get in to see Doctor tomorrow I think. Dunno what they can do but something has to give. I may need signing off work for a while or something I dunno just need to feel like I am doing something.0 -
