i got a small holdall (bargain from tesco at just £3!) for the labour and baby stuff and using a overnight bag for all my stuff, toiletries coming home outfit etc. still unsure of what to wear when in labour, do all hospitals have gowns i can pinch or do i really have to ruin my stuff?
I wore a maternity/BFing nighty from mothercare not ruined at all, wasn't a mark on it :D I'll be wearing it again for this one ;)
Those gowns are hideous I'd rather get a cheap asda/tesco nightie and never use it again than wear one of those

    Congrats Durham! :T

 hello everyone! I'm trying to find information about what is making me croak like a frog in pregnancy around tea time either before or after, but not having much luck. OH thinks it's hilarious  I'm guessing it's something to do with the diaphragm / ribs

I'm not having a great week anyhow - Thursday would have been my EDD for the one I lost in August - and I think that's why I feel peaky.. cos I'm getting myself wound up and worried about this one.. :(

best to keep names to yourself as we found out, we decided on seth as we know we're having a boy, my friend thought it was lovely, popped hers out 7 weeks early and nicked the name even though she was set on jake before hand! we're still going with it, she can lump it but its made things a bit akward as we all work/worked for a company where everyone knows everyone so now we're going to get "isnt that XXXX's babys name?" everywhere we go!
plus if we'd kept it to ourselves it would have stopped people going "oh i dont like that" like its really their business!!    like my nan who decided we couldnt call him seth because a lot of jewish men are called seth and she's a devout christian - we're not religious at all so how does it matter to us!!!!!!!
    OMFG How rude is she!!!
My sister's frined had twins, a girl n boy before Christmas and they are Seth and Betsy - how cute!!!
PS tell ur nan as she is a devout Christian she worships a man who helped save the jews. so him upstairs must like them :p

...alas it seems a very inexact science and depends on how warm the weather is, how much weight or fluid the mum has gained during PG, how much fluid she's carrying around the fetus etc... All I can really say is, it's a good sign, but you can just spontaneously go into labout without a hint of a puffy ankle!

You're due the day after me aren't you? My ankles still seem pretty much like normal, how're yours? ;)
normal in the morning and then the top of my feet are puffy in the evening, no ankle swelling really just deep trenches for sock marks:rotfl: such an attractive business!
