ah its the willow tree one we have. I love em cos they feel like wood!
Only thing I worry about though, in 20 years are our kids going to look at them like we look at those white porceline ones our own parents usually have?? :rotfl:
Oven crunchies, I spotted that the co-op have them (listed in suitable for vegetairians dated 2006). I don't have one of those near me but Tesco have potato lattices and now I want them more!0 -
I have the willow tree nativity hubby bought me for christmas... My Mum didn't have any ornaments when we were growing up... There were 4 of us and there were always stray limbs flying about knocking things over... She's made up for it recently... Especially since she discovered eBay... I keep telling her that her house is starting to look like a bag ladies shopping trolley... Until I started seeing hubby the only ornament I had was a brass crocodile I got when my grandad died... Now I seem to be acumulating collectables... All bought by him lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Just thought I'd update after my (90 minute!) appointment earlier today.
Lady I saw was wonderful. Midwife for 25 years, and now head of Midwives and Deliveries, so really knew her stuff.
Birth plan is all written up, and covers all the things I thought were silly. Few things that really helped - as long as no-one with higher need than me is in there, I'll get an en-suite room (I really hope I do, not just for me, but the main people who get higher priority are ladies who have lost fullterm babies). OH is allowed to stay with me overnight if I need him. I don't have to stay overnight if I don't want to - they are happy with the support I've got at home and if I want to go (assuming all healthy) then no problem.
She also covered pain relief and positions for SPD, which was helpful.
It went really well, very glad I found the right person to talk to!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

oooooh MFD! your ankles are swollen! That's another good sign of being near the end, cos the body stores more liquid so it can cope better with any blood loss, using the oedema (swelling) water to dilute the blood, and put it under less strain!
Shuffles off, embarassed
