Thanks AM and Krystal.. OH was asking as he's been swimming every day for the last week and getting back into it. I think he'd have to come with us as I'm not particularly confident in the water.

SLS, are you eating regularly? My everyday sickness has gone away but I still get it if I don't eat often enough. Had it on Monday cos I had a bit of a lie-in so had brekkie later than normal, and again at half two this morning, randomly! I'm putting it down to staying up late and not having too many snacks, but I had been drinking fizzy pop and baby didn't stop moving for ages so I don't know if it shook up my tummy too! :(
  • Makes me really paranoid though.

Was up all night with DS2 who had a headache, temperature, felt sick and had a stiff neck. Gave him ibuprofen and checked him over, because as soon as you hearthose symptoms together, alarm bells ring. But he seems fine now. Plus, I get recurrent ear infections and I'm getting one now. My ear has went that swollen echo-y way so every noise is just booming in my head. And DH is at work too! :(

Okay - really stupid question...if my waters go whilst I am on the toilet I will know the difference between that and a big wee won't I? :o
    .
Right this is a detailed report of my waters so look away now if you don't want to know!
I woke up at 6am needing a wee,
went to loo sat down and weed
wen I stood up there was a trickle, which did happen sometimes so I sat back down
nothing else came out so I stood up and there was another trickle at which point I thought "hmm thats a bit strange" so I sat down again wiped and got a bit of tissue and held it against me and stood up again,
I felt more trickle so then I looked at the tissue and it was wet but not yellow like wee but more like very weak juice just a teeny bit pink, I also sniffed it :o and it didn't have any smell.
So I shouted hubby to get up and showed him and he sniffed it to :o we decided that it was deffo 'waters' and call the hosp who said come in so I hopped in the bath to wash my hair (obviously) where I had some irregular contractions and the rest they say is history :D
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

I think Sami is right, as always!
  • Makes me really paranoid though.

My morning sickness came back at about 30 weeks. Midwife says its normal, and often happens when the baby gets bigger. All the usual things, eating little and often etc helps.

I'm terrified, got first Antenatel class today, and I've got to go alone :(

Its NCT ones and there are going to be lots of rich, posh ladies and thier husbands, and I'll be at least a decade younger. Must remember to put my wedding ring on :o

Is now worried about DS2. He has a few spots on his pee and round about, but then he has had diareah. Going to call NHS 24 anyway.
