At the end of every month I'm pratting around transferring money for mortgage - what a nightmare! OH insists on giving me a cheque for his half of the bills as he 'doesn't do internet banking' - still haven't got round to setting up the joint account so everything comes out of my account. My bank is miles away so end up putting cheque in one bank and then transferring fund to my account - fortunately, they do same day transfers for nothing now!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Weezl - that looks fab. That's how I imagine mine will be if I can have it.
What's the thermal wrap?
What is form is the calcium in?
Oh yeah and what's the sieve for?
Thanks Glam!
Thermal wrap is a foil based thing like they wrap you in after a marathon, and it means that if we get lots of notice he's coming, we fill er up, and then float the thermawrap on the surface to retain the heat til the midwives are sure I'm 4cm.
Calcium, tablet form, need to take 2000mg at start of labour apparently!?
Sieve- don't make me say it again:o:o:o:o

Add to that his stoopid bank account will only let him draw so much over the counter, he has to put the bill money into my account in 2 lots... Seeing as they've always been my bills we haven't changed anything bank account wise...0

Haha - is that DH's job?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Is the thermometer for the water or you?
oh he's very good is my DH! and i think my mind may be on other things!!! :rotfl:
thermometer is for the water, cos apparently if it's too far away from blood temperature when he's crowning, he might try to draw breath too early....
Sami, you're absolutely right about the towels, I need some for me, and some to wrap in foil and put in the oven on low, for them to rub him down with if he's a bit flopsy at first!

Hey Weezl - That looks great:D I was going to ask about the seive too, but now I know!! and I would hate for you to have to repeat that;)
I was also going to mention, but Elle beat me to it, about towels for you and baby and possibly a couple on the floor so you don't slip when you get out:)
You seem to have everything else though:D
Like I say, I am just gonna chuck down my cheapy shower curtains, that I got from the pound shop With a couple of old sheets on top that I found lurking in the cupboard from 'back in the day', when we had a double bed not a King-size. You seem much more organised hehe!!

Ow, that's carp and lots of faffing about! I moved my DD date to the last day of the month. I get paid on last day of each month and all my DD's go out straightaway- that way I know exactly what I've got left to spend. So impressed with my savings this month, £500 plus an extra £250 to add from Overtime worked! Plus work have given me more Overtime to do. I also do some work packing envelopes for a firm and get paid in Vouchers (it's legit) and have some to do this weekend :jA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Wow Glam, that's good going! I have a standing order set up so money goes into savings automatically on a Monday when tax credits go in... We were doing well until the washer blew up... And we bought Aimee's birthday presents... And a new unit for her bedroom... And a new bookcase... And wallpaper and paint for the lounge and bedroom... Now we have about £50 left lol... Will apply for my surestart grant next week... I know its for baby things... But seeing as I've already forked out for most of the baby things... Think they'll mind if I buy a new wardrobe with it? lolA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Funny really -see my sig for how I made the savings, considering I used to be overdrawn pretty much every month just by making a few little changes I've saved loads! Also, this month I haven't had to make any big purchases - January was car tax, gas and elec and RockBand!
Feel a bit silly really as I owe my Dad £2K which he lent me and if I'd have sorted my finances out back in May when we bought the house I could have paid him back before Bean came along.
Hopefully I'll get full pay on mat leave and have loadsa spare cash leftover to pay him back and buy baby things :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
