MFD - I thought it was just me! I find that if I put on the wrong trousers/knickers baby fights it until I take them off, baby even does this with under the bump things. As long as I am wearing loose over bump things baby is ok and can cope lol :D

Although I now realise that I need to find some even bigger bridget jones style knickers in a pregnant size 24........ I might just buy a tent and wear it with braces
If you need some suggestions I spotted a section on babycentre.co.uk for "plus size mums" lots of people had posted ideas in it

    ah found it http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/plus-size/

    Back from MW

Anyway, Bubba is still 2 fifths engaged (so 3 5ths of his head in my pelvis) when I said I was hoping he would have gone down further by now MW said any further is in labour so I just need to get that started.
Wee fine today (although it looked awful - cloudy with bits in it  )

Measuring 41 weeks but not worried about that anymore.

Back from MW too! spookily enough, was just gonna post nearly the exact same things! 3/5 engaged, and wee all fine! ;) Still reckon you're gonna beat me tho :T

Only difference is he's now measuring 3cm below the line. Fortunately by this stage they're allowed to, and still be ok for home birth!

Yay! I've got an appointment with the Delivery Manager for Monday, to do my Birth Plan and work out how best to help me cope with things. Also got Consultant and Anaesthetist on Wednesday, then another scan on following Wednesday, and Midwife on that Thursday. 5 appointments in 10 days, eek. And NCT Classes start on Saturday, but I've got to go alone :(

I am feeling so depressed about the state of the house now! And I am trying to tidy and clean but just hoovereing has wiped me out! My pulse is still racing and I sat down almost 10mins ago. And I was aiming to get the windows and glass doors cleaned as that and the floor will make the place look 100 times better.

Maybe a cup of tea will set me in good spirits.

and bleugh swallowing! I don't even spit, I mastered the 'pinch technique' and leave DH to deal with the left overs :rotfl: As for inducing labour, solo fun girls ;)

    Hi Feely,

Glad things are starting to move for you in that you are getting to see the people you want to see.

You have a busy 10 days then!!!!

As for going to the NCT classes on your own, i know they are different to the NHS ones, but i went on my own. Not really hubby's cup of tea and he was poorly anyway. I would have loved him to come but it would have infuriated me even more if he was sat there all day with a face of thunder on him not listening.

I know you live away from your family so I guess taking a family member isn't an option but is a friend available? If not, dont worry about it. Go, take in all the info and prepare yourself for what you need to do. That is the way i looked at it. Once you are armed with the information they give you, i found it gave me a new understanding of how everything was going to work.

feelie I went to the breast feeding class alone and there were 2 or 3 other ladies alone too. the plan is for OH to come to the rest in april but there is no guarantee he'll be here as work are always sending him away :( it wasn't bad going on my own, I was scared at first but it was fine :D
Its a shame ur OH won't be there though because I think it is useful for them esp if a first timer, is it his work that won't let him go?
