Just catching up for today.

CONGRATULATIONS SamPainter!

I was rumbled at school this morning by one of the mums (now 8+5, but as Sami Bee says have a bump that looks more like 28+5!). I'd already decided if I was asked outright, that I wasn't going to lie but would ask the person to keep it to themselves for a bit longer. When asked this morning, I said "Yes, but I haven't gone public yet", to which she replied "That's what you think!" I suspect the cat will be well and truly out of the bag within the next few weeks.

I've booked our holiday too. Can't have a summer sun holiday this year, as I'll be too far along by the time the kids break up to fly, so have booked a week in Cyprus at Easter instead. Am really looking forward to some sun, after all this cold weather.

Hello girlies!
Goodish news on the car front, just sold it for £400 to a bloke, so am picking up a P reg Escort on Saturday for £450 :j
It's not the poshest car in the world but it comes with Tax, a years MOT and it has been very well looked after, so as long as it dont break down on me i couldnt give a flying fcuk!
And we are just going to save for a better car, we did look at finance but because of the 'credit crunch' and OH's job isnt as safe as mine we decided against it and to just save the amount we were going to pay for tick.

OH is just cooking me a nice spag bol :drool:

oh I suspect you have been the topic of choice on the gossip grape vine then Nicki :rolleyes:
I was outed he first time so quickly!! I found out on a bank holiday monday and had to go to the GPs on the tues and weds morning, I walked in the office on the wed and one of the girls said "doctors two days in a row?? You're pregnant aren't you?!" I just went bright red and said shhhh!!

Thankfully hiccups only lasted about 5mins *phew* although it is funny at first

Caz I like Erin as well as Evie But knowing you... I'll wait till you tell us she is 'officailly named'.

AM, great news about the car! We had an escort (L reg) and it lasted us 8 years untill it needed a new engine and the new one was dodgy (and also the wrong engine)! They are cheap and when anything goes wrong easy and cheap to fix, which is good

PS, <--- is from Ayrshire, which has a worse accent than Glasgow!!!

Does anyone know if Next maternity stuff is available in "petite" or "short" or 30" leg?? I can't open the next site on webby and don't want to get off the sofa to put the noisy PC on to find out for myself
