  • I'm 8 weeks today.

I still haven't been to the docs.

Luckily have no symptoms apart from tender baps.

It still doesn't seem real. Today though I realise I'm 4 weeks late and so next period would be due. It definitely is real I know. Anyone else experienced denial and how did you get over it?

AF did you get any where with names? I can't remember you putting ur forward since the Angel related names.
I'm now going to have a look for angel/heaven/grandmother related names to represent the our's that have passed instead of poor child having about 5 names!

no, we haven't got very far at all with names. we have a few girls names in mind, but nothing set. and as for boys names, gosh i have one but hubby doesn't like it.

i would love the name to have some kind of angel meaning if possible, but hubby isn't one for alternative type names either.

middle names are set and have been for quite some time, not that helps much :D:D

let me know if you find any 'good' ones

Lots of the ladies on here have been on a trip down de nile :p I think for most it becomes real when they see bubs on the scan.
I don't really 'get' it myself I knew I was pregnant about 3 days after I conceived this time and last time I knew before I did the test once i realised I'd missed 2 periods and had other symptoms (wasn't trying for my 1st)

AF - are you gonna tell us the middle names then?
Celeste was the best one that came up on the first page but not sure if I like it.
Considering 'Heaven' for middle name if a girl

thats how i feel shoppie. i'm 10 weeks this week and still dont have any 'symptons' however i have been assured by plenty of womenthat this is perfectly normal. boobies feel very heavy and have noticed some changes but no sickness as such. but this can kick in at anytime. apparently 9 weeks is when a lot of people start to feel sickness. i am now feeling i am quite lucky. tho' until i have the scan, at the back of my mind i feel like my body is playing a trick on me
you should make an appointment with gp or midwife as you will need to book in for scans and bloodtests.

hey shoppie, mine still doesn't feel real and I'm 14 weeks now, the scan was amazing and weird but it still just felt like i was watching something on telly and it's not like i think everything i see on telly is real!

I think for me reality will hit home when I fell bean kicking, until then i just feel like i'm getting fat....and old (clicky hips and backache!)
