He is expected to work every weekend till the baby is born :eek:

Can't really complain, he has got a job in the most stable company in his industry (most are having major redundancies, but they are recruiting!). He is up for renewal in April, so might be out of a job then, so ideally want to have as much savings as possible incase he is out of work for a while.

There are only 8 couples on the course, so I'm a bit worried I'll be left out. Don't know anyone else I could take, just me down here! Suppose it'll force me to chat to people a bit more though.

Oooooh thanks for that cazscoob! I'd better get on all fours to prevent the dreaded back to back! Did you have a paddling pool at your home birth?

I think I link Erin to that model on the M&S ads and I don't like her but she'll be long gone when ur LO is still at school.

Feelie - I wish I was nearby so I could gatecrash! I'd love to see if the NCT ones are different too

no weezl i never had birthing pool! TBH by the time i realised i was in labour i think it would have been too late for us to get it up and filled! will be v.interested in your BS. i had only stood up to get my knickers off and gravity must have taken effect as i never sat down until she was in my arms lol! poor OH was sat on seatee with me grabbing his shoulder with one hand and gas and air in other pmsl:P
