tiamai we must be bad mothers together as from today i dont think anyone has any clean clothes left in my house and i have a 6 month old washing machine in my garage. if only i could move it it would be in here and getting this mountain done....bloody men?

Well ladies I'm officially off sick now - signed off to return on monday the 9th - I like my doctor! She's lovely!
She even called me to discuss it and see what work said to the letter she gave me for them etc and tut tutted them :rotfl: Might need to buy her a box of choccies

Caz, you have a better excuse than me though, you actually have the baby there.

My house is a tip but I just can't get energised enough to do it! I'm soooo lazy right now!

sounds like your bad experience was due to the hospital being full :rolleyes:
The "broom cupboard" was probably the observation room where they would normally check you over and then pop you on the maternity ward, send you home or put you in a delivery suite from but as they were full they had to keep you in there.
If you are really worried about that hospital is there an option to go to another?
If not then disscuss your concerns with your MW I'm sure she'll be able to let you kno what the usual way of handling things at ur hosp is

i have stopped doing anything in the morning as charlie just wrecks the place so wait until he is in bed, however i dont know how i am ever going to catch up with this washing???

any idea where to get a cheap tumble dryer?

Asda and Tesco have the small ones for about £60 sometimes
I want one but have no where to put it

I am shamed into moving and doing some washing as I have a tumble dryer. (from curries via quidco, a 9kg drum so I can fit 2 washing machine loads in if some of the stuff goes over the radiators). OK, a wm load on, and do some ironing to start.
