Hi everyone, well after loitering with intent for the last 8 wks I am now ready to add myself to the list after a successful 12 wk scan last Friday.
This is no3 for me and a bit of a shocker considering its due 3rd September and DD and DS were both born on 6th September :eek:0 -
Hiya spinks - 6th September is a good day...all the best people were born on that day
(until this year that is....then the best day will be whenever Bubba makes his appearance lol)
Welcome to the madhouse!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Sami - I added myself to the list just as you were updating it!!!0

MFD - Thanks for the welcome. One good thing about them being on the same day is its only one day of madness for the birthday party but there is only so long they are going to put up with that.0

Congrats Spinks :j0

I finally caught up! Thank you greent for your post - I too admit I originally had a desire for a girl as we already have DS1 and it'll be the complete set so to speak. I wanted all the pretty pink and frilly stuff around the house. What didn't help was the midwife telling me at my 16 week check up that the baby's heartbeat was quick, I was carrying different and had all day morning sickness so probably a girl. I got this into my head, fortunately I stopped in at a friends house on the walk home and she warned me not to cling to that thought as she was told that and it was a boy. This convinced me to find out the favour at our 20 week scan. It's a boy. For about 2 nanoseconds I thought bang goes my pink and frilly but then for some strange reason I wasn't in the slightest bit bothered and quite happy DS1 would have a brother to play with. I'm not planning on a third bump so have to accept there probably won't be a girl here but I'm ok with that.
Congrats to the newbies and the new babies. DS1 is now 18 months old! Where does time go. He did enjoy his pancake last night - will post link later once I've taken them off my camera
