MM am so glad your work have actually done something!

well still no chat as kids were hyper and he was again too busy with everything else. said he would come to bed after shameless and i think he came up at 4 as i was feeding and half awake?DS1 decided he didnt want to go to school so that caused an argument and as OH was already away i was left to sort it out. text OH and got a what do u want me to do type reply.
so anyway lots to do and no want to do it lol!

Morning all, only came to catch up otherwise it takes ages later. Gotta go work now then got 3 different parent evenings at 2 schools, they clashed. Got 10mins between appointments at different schools!

i agree with the breastfeeding as im lazy option lol! she can come into bed in middle of night and get fed and fall asleep, no making bottles or forgetting to steralise etc etc. and also noone can take her off me and i get to feed and cuddle her!!!

i did have a couple of bottles and formula on standby but will prob give it to my sister

My mum has just texted to say she has terrible backache, am I okay - first my MIL, then my Mum, what is it with mothers thinking they have some psychic link to me!!!


I do have a bit of backache though! Putting that down to not having had a bath this morning (I had a shower for the first time in 2 weeks - don't tell the ladies on the bathing kids thread!)

AF - thanks for note about itunes card:). My baby wasn't engaged either, midwife said to get bouncing on a gym ball to 'encourage' him down!! Although as it is my 3rd baby surely it makes no difference, I have heard of babies only engaging once labour starts. I didn't like her (it was as if she was trying to scare me) anyway, just hope it is not her who comes out once I go into labour.

Krystal - Midwife, read out the guidelines and said as long as you make the formula up with water above 70 degrees (so it kills the bacteria) and cool it down quickly, then it is perfectly fine to use the 'make-it-up' formula...and also fine to make up the whole days feeds (as above) and keep them stored in fridge.

LOL Caz!!! We blocked them using the adult channel settings after DS1 discovered them. Naked ladies and worse.... the gay channel... :eek:

I didn't plan on bf DS1, but he was sent to SCBU and they asked if I wanted to try. They also mentioned that as he was under phototherapy if I bf him I would get more cuddles (they try to keep baby under the lights as much as poss so parents are discouraged from disrupting treatment). Gave up after 2 weeks as I was so tired and they didnt do combined feeding.

With DS2 it was a nurse that put me off so this time I really want to be 3rd time lucky. And I'm more sel aware too so wont let big nurses manhandle me.

DS1 is off school as I had no clean uniform for him.... bad mother.... and I'm feeling poorly. I got the dire-rear That will be the McDonalds I had yesterday.
