They didn't 16m ago when I had Poppy (but it did take 3 attempts!).

PS: I'm only on page 62!

I'm thinking I need to get a blackberry or ipod touch coz if I leave the house I come back to 10 pages!

    MM - I'm 23 :D I turn 24 a bit less than 3 weeks after bubs is due
Nik - you don't have to go to clinic ;) are you the one I'm thinking of that lives here in sunny wigan? wigan is in the process of getting a certificate thingy that is to do with being more supportive and pro BFing I have already seen a big difference in how they talk about it compared to when I was pregnant last time. info on the certificate thingy http://www.babyfriendly.org.uk/page.asp?page=48

If you are in wigan I can give you the number of a local BFing counselor too, I met her at a parentcraft class and found her to be a very nice lady who I won't find flashing my boobs to if necessary when the time comes :rotfl:

Yes, I'm in Wigan too. The number would be great thanks, I'm still not really sure what i'll do, It's also going to be difficult with having 3 under 3's in the house!
If google doesn't know it, how should i?

Sorry to be a nag but will you lovely ladies tell me what to do I'm torn and hubby will be of no use in this decision

oh and on the snack front I threw up about 3 times during labour so eating wasn't on my agenda  I literally inhaled the toast afterwards tho!

I would go for the 4D one too, but I really wanted to see my baby's face and body and it was extremely reassuring to me :o.

Maybe just you and DH could go and find out the sex on your own?

Oh, and I was sick after a sip of Lucozade mid labour and again after Poppy was born but nothing at all with Jamie!

Today, hubby and I are both liking the same name!

Which one of us will change our mind first???

  • Am starting to feel really bad for not wanting to BF !!

All you lovely peeps are going to and I havent heard of anyone on this site yet that is going to bottle feed !!
I didnt BF my 1st either, the whole idea of it scares the carp out of me:eek:

    Am I a bad mum????:o

(that is a rhetorical question - I do not expect to get any answers !!
    )

I BF for one day with Poppy and not at all with Jamie. It was the right decision for me and I have no regrets :). It was such a stressful time with Poppy that I didn't want to go through it again and the MW's at my hospital were totally supportive of my choice.

PS: no, you're not a bad mummy!

    xx
