What a great [STRIKE]Scam[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]way to generate commissions from Insurers[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]way to gather peoples renewal dates and personal details to sell on to Insurers next year way[/STRIKE] to do a "Survey"
You simply offer £25 for people whose Insurance Policies are currently due for renewal. Get them to ring specified Insurers or Comparison sites. What are the chances of some of these people taking out cover and the survey company receiving a nice juicy commission from the Insurer...0 -
Many sites like this, many opportunities in research to maje extra money.
Thanks for that advice0 -
I completed a car insurance survey I found a link for on MSE with Consumer Intelligence promising a £5 cheque for the first 500. I have been in touch with Mr Hughes and I am told that I was one of the (first 250?), but have yet to receive the cheque.
I also completed the online comparison sites project with them which promised a £20 cheque, again I have yet to receive the cheque.
I've also done something else which asked for my address and other details again promising a £5 cheque, quelle surprise not received.
I'm told that the delay is due to a lack of cheque books? I was promised that (this Tuesday past) I'd receive a confirmation the cheques had been sent out but nope, zilch. Emailed Mr Hughes today with no response.
Anyone actually received their cheque(s)?0 -
I've received the email and have opted to join in from next month.
I now await the £5 cheque...Fingers crossed !!!0 -
I did the Home Insurance online comparison survey and received my £5 cheque for being one of the first - however, I am yet to receive the £25 cheque promised.
Can anyone confirm whether they have received their payment?0 -
I did the Car Insurance online survey in November and received my £20 cheque today, just awaiting the £5 cheque.
I did not buy through the compaison sites as my renewal with my current insurer through a broker was the cheapest even taking into account cashback sites.0 -
I have now received the £20 cheque.. just waiting for the other two of which there has been no communication whatsoever

However, there is a (I think) problem with the cheque. The date on the cheque has been scratched (and re-written) BUT has not been cross-signed /initialled
I am not sure if the bank will accept such a cheque or will hold me responsible for the possible fradulent activity (unauthorised change of date)??? :eek:0 -
