Got my cheque last week (a few weeks earlier than they had initially told me).

It's the easiest £50 i have ever made.

If people didn't take part becasue they thought it was a scam i'd think again if i were you!

  • I received my cheque last week, it didn't take as long to arrive as I initially thought and also the ringing round wasn't as bad as I thought.

If you are due to change insurers, this is a great way to get some more money cut off, and it will ensure you get the best deal going!

Whole thing didn't take very long and got my cheque promptly. I'd definitely do work for them again.

I applied and was accepted for a home insurance job with these people - they sent me the initial instructions plus a link to a pre-survey and stated that they would get back to me with instructions on how to make the phone calls, the number to ring for the recording etc.

The day came and went and eventually late in the evening I received an email from them saying there had been a problem with the survey company and the results had been lost, but hopefully it would be resolved within a few days and the details would then be sent to me. A few days passed and I received another email saying that the problem still hadn't been resolved & that they'd be in touch once it had. Meanwhile, my home insurance has been renewed (and I didn't shop around because I was waiting to do so with Consumer Intelligence) and I'm not ineligible, presumably.

    A complete waste of time.

What concerns me though is that I had another email from them about a junk mail shop in which they linked to a survey asking for my name, address and date of birth. Did anyone else receive this? I really hope so because it gives me a very bad feeling otherwise that they're really just phishing for my data to use for their own ends.

    Thanks

    Hi all
I was recruited for and have just completed a home insurance survey with ConsumerIntel.com. It sounds like they had initially problems with the call recording equipmentback in May which took a few weeks to resolve, so I had to complete a pre-survey questionnaire a second time. I got the details of who to call through a couple of days ago and made my six calls yesterday and today. All went very well; can't have taken more than a couple of hours in total. Barclays even beat a very good offer I found online, so that was worth knowing (apparently they are having a 50% off sale on contents insurance!).

I've been told to expect my £50 cheque in a few weeks, and they'll keep me in mind for future surveys if my renewal dates match with their projects. This seems pretty neat - if you're already calling round for quotes you might as well get paid for doing it! Heh, take the £50 off my insurance quote and it leaves me with a £22 contents insurance renewal, beat that!

    Cheers
    Jon

I had the same email from them and I am not worried. This time it didn't work for you but might next time. They seem to be getting very good feedback from other MSE. You were just unlucky not to qualify this time.
