Possible £50 for car or home insurance mystery shopping

Perhaps we should do a bit of a survey on MSE about the customer service at Consumer Intelligence...he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

Today I have just banked a £50 cheque from the Consumer Intelligence car insurance survey.:beer:
I spent a couple of hours one afternoon earlier this month phoning half a dozen insurers via the CI web site links. No great hassles.

As it turned out none of them were cheaper than my renewal premium & even then I've got an even cheaper online quote & Quidco cashback on top - hopefully!
So that £50 will help pay for my sons 13th birthday pressies:bdaycake:

I took part in an internet based home insurance quote on Sunday evening, received an email on Tuesday advising me that my contribution was successful and that payment was on its way......cheque for £30 received this morning, just need to bank it now!

I too was dubious at first, but sometimes you have to take a chance or two, and there's so much competition for other MS companies maybe getting in early with a new player wont be so bad afterall??

i got an email after the pre survey for doing the house insurance quotes. Just now waiting for details to be sent out to me. i hope it goes smoothly as there seems to be a few problems through this thread.

I have been swiftly paid out a cheque from them. (And it's cleared!)
