Sorry bestpud i have no idea, but a query of my own:

It says i am a self registered user and there's nowhere to add my PI so there's no reference to me being a student? Considering i'm doing IT courses i am not off to a good start LOL. :rotfl:
With a free account, that's the bit that anyone can access so it doesn't need to know you're a student.

To access the student bits you need to wait until you get a letter telling you your username and password - or you can try to sign in with your PI but it seems that doesn't always work!

You can't link your free account and your student account together, but once you've sorted your student account you'll be able to access the free stuff and more.

Has anyone had the website tell them their PI doesn't exist?

Not had my username yet as just registered today but I'm told I should be able to access some stuff with my PI but it tells me it's not recognised...

I called the helpline and the guy said he can't see any reason why it won't let me in as I definitely exist under that PI.

I'm wondering if it's worth me calling tech support?

    Hi

Its a long shot but try logging in with your email address - you use the same password, may do the trick.

    Hope they get sorted. xx

Hi! I'm doing both of these courses too :D, i've had the M150 stuff delivered by dhl. It's the size of a large shoe box i'd say, with loads of A4 booklets in.

I have no idea what happens next though.

Aww yay! I have no idea either, I hope my stuff comes soon though :)

I have a username for StudentHome, but I cant get on much, and both courses say i need to register on them. I phoned up at asked, she said it had been registered and it will be updated tomorrow.

Is it bad im getting excited at this! :D

Sods law - I wouldn't worry about the tutorial, I've done 5 so far got 2 on the go, - a couple of the courses didn't go to tutorials, but on the tutor group forum, the tutor puts up the slides used, and a condensed version of what was discussed, and usually anotherstudent will put their notes on from tutorial.

If you do go - sounds daft - but your alone, everyone will of had the same thoughts before hand.

From my experiences - the 1st tutorial, you have an ice breaker, whether you introduce someone esle or yourself, and then the tutor explains about the course, and goes through whats been done, some set exercice / discusion - depends on time wise. Sometimes for me the tutorial has been 7pm - 9pm 50 miles away, so one course nevver went at all, sent a message to the tutor saying why - they don't mind. One of my courses that are ending, The 1st tutorial started off at 20, the last had 5, another ocasssion - walked past class room (loo - stop) the tutor only had one student.

Hope that helps - usually go off on a tanget. xx
